Wasn't this a card trick performed by Jay Sankey or Richard Sanders on the Sankey Sanders Sessions DVD?
Slightly different presentation but same technique.

that is an S-Shaped Le Paul Spread. You can learn that in the Trilogy by Dan and Dave Buck. This move is on disc 3: Everythingelse.
