simply incredible..such great writing too..wheres george now?? would love to see them again, after all this time..lost ghost, still my tune to get pumped b4 rippin up the steeps/bumps....
Wow! Simply wow! What an awesome band! George's tone quality is great. Riffing all over the fretboard. Excellent phrasing. Can't believe I never heard of these guys. Just curious since George is wearing a Jimi Hendrix shirt - does he play any Hendrix? Could see him doing "Voodoo Chile". Thanks druman44 for posting.
Thanks to Greg Stone the West Coast of the US knows of Gamalon. Outstanding band, they were uneven though coming out with hard edged clean sound then all dirty then back to clean throwing in a couple more dirty. Had they come out a few years sooner they might have made it big. The 80's lead into prog rock's broadcast retirement where similar bands occupy a very small space in "classic rock."
gamalon...a buffalo treasure. kids, watch the man, every note where it should be-with taste-these videos are an inspiration-seeing them live was motivation!!! and "lazy"!!!oh my god a clinic in the art of rippn guitar work-thanks for putting these vids up guys.
Gamalon's "Aerial View" is an exceptional recording, which I first heard around 90 or 91. From back then, I always remembered the name George Puleo because of his incredible playing. And I have the John Abercrombie recording "Timeless" on wax, which features Jan Hammer and that tune "Red and Orange". Real nice record.

Obscure? Buffalo area?
The Netherlands knows and loves George Puleo and Gamalon playing. Right in the heart of Europe.
Anybody knowing George's gear setup? Can't find it on the web anywhere.
