between the time of that comment and now ive read the book and saw the movie. Rorschach's death was ok in the movie because it was emotional but his death in the book was just stupid and meaningless. Like the end of the book how Rorschach's journal gets to that news place
the idea, the conception are great. but I just felt that rorschach's...'suiting up' (??) should look a little more iconic. I'm not asking for a stupid batman-putting-the-armour-on sequence as we saw in keaton's, but I feel that when kovacs covers himself with his face, he goes through a deep and ultimate mental transformation rather than just a routine.
thanks. and thanks for watching. i changed the way he died to let the viewers who read the book that this movie is NOT watchmen.
i felt the smiley face without the stain was just as symbolic but i see what u mean.
i think is voice is perfect. but to each is own.
haha well an asshole eh? i told him to play like they were friends once and for them both to have angst against each other. dan (in my movie) is a washed up, depressed, lonely, man. hope i answered ur qs thanks alot for watching bud!
The voice is perfect? oh please, it's anything but! You're Rorschach (I don't know the actor's name) it's completely stagnant, there's emotion where it shouldn't be, he's stoic when he is supposed to be dynamic. I mean not to diss the movie in general, it's a pretty kool idea, but Rorschach speaks in a guttural and gravely monotone voice, instead he just sounds bored
loving it. well done! will watch the rest. the credit shots with kovacs/rorschach were particularly well shot. though I do think occasional use of some color would have added something to the film.
..taking the title from the Blake poem featured in the GN was brilliant too. tyger, tyger... :D
that was pretty good. i love the b/w style, gives the whole thing a nicely surreal touch, very fitting for the GN characters. thumbs up for all actors. rorschach´s voice works very well. of course, everybody here is younger than they are supposed to be, but i´ll just imagine the whole blake murder happened back when ro and co. got started into the crime fighting biz...;-) i´m intrigued and will watch/rate all other parts.
What did you use for that effect?

The movie is great but there are a couple of problems I would like to say:
1- The Comedian is shot?(Why have ya changed the way he died?)
2- The blood stain is way too symbolic to be cutten off
3- Rorschach's voice isn't scary at all and I can't understand a thing he says.
4- Last but no least, Dan sounds like an asshole instead of a nice guy

That really good, but I think you would have been better of not using the filter. And just going with regular footage.
Still, its nice to see someone actually show some creativity on Youtube.
