  • Grasp your chance to have a iphone4! ShpYaT accuc.info

  • Data stick will get you on the phone with arrogant customer service reps on a daily basis. Connection gets dropped every few min for hours at a time on some days. DO NOT BUY WIND PRODUCTS....they suck really bad

  • He makes it look like so much fun to use. I got this with T-Mobile's $30/month prepay plan so I can't complain it's not advanced enough. It's a shitty old phone, but I don't really do much with my phone so who cares

  • wow got it for free. glad i didnt but it. whew!

  • I don't recommend this phone!! I have it and it's touch screen is really unresponsive. I haven't had it that long and the back lights don't light up anymore, the lock and camera side buttons don't respond, and the green call/answer button doesn't work so I have to use the touch screen which sucks to do everything. DOONNT BUYY ITT :)

  • Found one of these on the sidewalk one day, no battery, T-mobile SIM card, and when I turned it on via charger, the screen was broken, any help on that? :(

  • what is the max memory you can use on this? for songs and whatnot?

  • @KeithWasHere1 deleting texts which is such a pain, and you we asking me about texting, that's not so fun either. you can't turn the phone landscape way and make it a full keyboard, the fastest way to type is using T9, i seriosuly need to press 4 different buttons just to press the letter "z" and don't even think about typing in capital because that takes twice as long, seriously sometimes i don't text my friends back because i don't want to deal with the annoying phone. oh and yeah, it does

  • @FriendsTilZeEnd i was just going to get it to replace my MP3 player cause it has a touch screen, and lots of functionality (hear you can watch tv on it?) and i can get it from a friend on eBay for 20 bucks.also some of the widgits are useful to me as well..wish it had a Osilliscope widgit or app that would be awesome..and even when my other phone i never text.. except perhaps 1 word answers...yes ,no, go away lol...im not exactly an telephonophile.but thanks for your input i appreciate it.

  • @KeithWasHere1 No problem, tell me if you end up buying it, i want your opinion on it!

  • @KeithWasHere1 yeah i got it in the mail the other day...man..its been a learning curve i swear...only thing is it only gets like 2 or 3 bars and most of the time goes into emergency call function....dont know whats doing that...but aside from texting its been fun...learning to put stuff back onto the widget bar took me for ever to figure out..but all in all its not been a bad expereince...but like you said texting with it is a pita

  • @KeithWasHere1 autocorrect words like "dont" to "foot" ugh i hate this phone so much. I have an ipod touch 4 so i dont use this phone for pictures, or music so i cant say much about that, other than the picture quality sucks butt. the reason i got this phone was because it was cheap, and that was around a year ago, its probably cheaper now, i got it for around $30. Trust me DO NOT get this phone, it's just going to leave you with a big headache. I'm like begging my dad to get me a new one,

  • Respond to this video... honestly i rate this phone a 0/10 actually no more like a -999/10, please use your money and invest in a better phone you will be really happy you did! <3

  • i need help....my phone screen wont work.I can barley get passed my lock screen without it pretending like im not touching it....HELPPPP

  • Does it hav qwerty

  • @WeeklyUpdater yes, it has landscape full keyboard its good for texting

  • @WeeklyUpdater nope

  • got this as a christmas gift in 09, kind of an unwanted gift but when my internet connection goes down it's nice to be able to use skype, though that's not even really exclusive to this phone. i don't use it very often, but when i do it's usually to send an instant message or text. the touchscreen becomes extremely unresponsive in a very short amount of time, rendering it pretty much useless. when using the max resolution for the camera, it seems to morph people's faces, too.

  • @infraball and the fake shutter sound is just ridiculous. if anybody here knows how to disable it, please drop me a message :P

  • SAMSUNG MYTHIC FAKE! THIS PHONE SUCKS ASS. IT IS A KNOCK OFF OF THE SAMSUNG MYTHIC.

  • it is so slow

  • i have the android huawei and its killing this fone this fone sucks i reccomend getting the android huawei

  • i have this phone, and texting with it is like a mission. :(

  • @FriendsTilZeEnd why so?..does it autocorrect or just difficult with a touch screen? im thinking about getting one cause they are cheap, but just on the fence about it...how would you rate this phone?

  • @KeithWasHere1 wow i was just thinking about this today, and i will happily tell you everything about this phone. Your right it is cheap, and there are maybe 2 good things about it. first of you CAN go on facebook on this phone using the Opera Mini app, which is not blocked in many schools so thats a good thing. and secondly it makes this cute "Hi" sound everytime you take a picture, but that is it. i cannot receive picture messeges, your inbox limit is like 500 texts then you have to start ...

  • i have this phone, and texting with it is like a mission.

  • i have this phone, really good! and uh, fuck im only paying like 15$ and some cents a month for talking and txting :D

  • Wind? how is the reception and drop calls?

  • Anyone had anyluck downloading music to this phone? I've been trying for over an hour :(

  • @tysontomaszewicz u need to buy a memory card than use the usb cable to go to import files i think then u drag the music into the memory hope i helped

  • @tysontomaszewicz plug it in then download the pc asssistant for the phone. Then you click media. Then click add and select music. Hope i helped!

  • I joined Wind in August with the Bold, I don`t regret it at all the only issue I experience is coverage, but that will get better

  • is there a huwei store for apps like Ovi for nokia?

  • How do you add music:s

  • 8100 is better

  • Total rip off from the htc touch

  • Looks like Touchwiz phones, I'd rather get Huawei's Android phones!

  • Compared to my previous phone, this phone is great. It is true that the touch screen freezes occasionally and it took me a while to figure out inserting the sim card. If you're finding a touch screen phone for $90 without a contract, though, you can kind of expect what you're paying for.. most others cost twice that much.

  • this phone is very good, i like me.

  • Dose eney one no if it has facebook

  • @lilcummings54 yes it does

  • thank you so much it just took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to put the sim card innn

  • does it have like fb, or youtube, or msn on it?

  • @g0d0fwAr09 you can go on the browser for youtube and fb

    or text message

  • @g0d0fwAr09 no i have it

  • @g0d0fwAr09 i mean i have the phone

  • I have this one..i got it about 2 month ago...

    THE TEXTING FRIGGIN SUXX!!

it takes a life time to write a 4 phrase text!! -.-, and if your a giant texter liek me...it could be a probleme

  • @Addipooh15 wat kinda problems?? like as in uu type to quickly n it takes time to register wat uu wrote??

  • @Addipooh15 whats wrong with the texting? I only use it if I want to send pictures so yeah...

  • BRING WIND MOBLE TO BRITISH COLUMBIA!!!!!!!

  • @fp1123

wind has already come to b.c. !

There is a location in Kitsilano and Yaletown in Vancouver, and at many Blockbuster video stores.. there is a 50% off promotion going on too for another week!

  • wow i like to listen to music does this fone comes wit the earphones for the phone

    thanks

  • did anybody else see the massive bumps on his index finger on his right hand!

  • Worse phone ever screen freezes constantly

  • @stonedroses100

not to mention no virtual keyboard

  • @stonedroses100 ive had this phone for a few months now, not a single problem.

  • The Huawei is Chinese crap. It contains numerous faults in the phone. A SMALL example is downloading updated Google Maps. If you do, you can say good bye to your gps feature forever. You can´t undo the damage due to programming errors. This is what happens when you allow 2 demensional thinkers trying to engineer shit. buy japanese or canadian. forget chinese! there´s a good reason why their number one industry is slave labour and counterfitting. they suck!!

  • @Rata4You You're a Fag Fcking Rattata

  • I will only sign up with if they can block off internet as my Bell contract is ending up and hate to stay with Bell...

  • I had this phone for one week before it broke. Its packed with features but the screen and interface is horrible to use. Its decent for the price but I wouldnt recommend it.

  • does this have a wifi with it?

  • Not helpful. I can't for the life of me figure out how to enter text when it's necessary. I get the field/ box, but no option to tap in letters. Why is that not demonstrated? I get the option to do everything but alpha (letters). I already hate this phone. Then again, I didn't really choose it. My finances chose it.

  • Is there a qwerty keyboard?

  • does anyone have this phone? would you recommend it?

because i stuck between this phone and the LG Vu

    which one is better

  • Thanks for the video they are really helpful !

  • Hey any one looking to sign up with wind in mississauga??

  • This is the same hardware as the Tmobile Tap, but Wind disabled some of the important features!

  • sorry for this Noobish question, but what is postpaid? is it like similar to what koodo does? : O cause i was gonna get a koodo phone, but the phones they have seem to have many problems.... i have a fido phone ( LG neon) its prepaid and im wasting so much damn money... And my stupid Lg neon has problems and i only had it for 5 months! i never dropped it, it never dropped in water either!:\

  • can you chaange themes in this phonee?

  • is it true you shouldnt buy it if you text a lot cause it doesnt keep upp? /:

  • is that the only keyboard? is there a nice qwerty keyboard if you turn it over? i just hate that damn keybord

  • @dylancohen10 yeaa, there is.

  • @dylancohen10 The phone is physicaly capable of it, but wind has dissabled it in the firmware :S ?!?!

  • apparently this is a shitty phone

  • im getting one this week !!!

  • this is cool and helpfull but he has a horible hand... im just saying

  • The google maps feature - is online access required? I'd like to be able to go online, and load a 'static' map to my phone (like printing, minus the paper)

  • so can i put a sim card from FIDO into this phone??

  • @HumanoidHotel

    nope lol

  • @HumanoidHotel yes, but you have to unlock the phone first if you bought if from wind, or you can get an unlocked version online

  • @HumanoidHotel

Depends where you get it. If it's unlocked you can use it on any network you like.

  • What if I have a 3year plan with Telus and want to switch over to WIND would I be charged by Telus for anything?

  • @N3wbyB3wby

youll have to ask telus but if you switch over to wind they will give you a 150 dollar credit

  • Does wind accept other phones from different companies? If they do, do they only accept phones with sim cards?

  • it depends on the phone, i think they offer you some credit if you switch to them, like minutes or something, and you keep your number. It actually depends on what type of fone you have. Call them and ask.

  • Oh, thanks! I was on Telus in my local mall, and we never knew WIND was already there, in the back of the mall. I was like "crap"

  • omg ! same thang happened to me! hahaha.

  • Ahaha, oh how things happen.. X3

  • LOOOL , we like spammed the comment page =)

  • W00t! :D

  • @BallPythonlover

Yes, it needs to have a sim card. Also, you can only use phones that are unlocked. Most (all) Canadian carriers lock their phones to their respective network.

  • lubb this phone & the company < 3

i get unlimited text in canada and the us & 100 minutes a month for 20.00 !

not to mention the firsst month freee !

    fuuuck rogers (:

  • Haha, so do you recommend this phone?

Cause I'm cancelling Telus at the end of the week and getting WIND.

  • totally. the phone is extremely easy to use. i have always chat plan for 15 $ and then add text for 5 buuucks. I switched from rogers to wind.

  • @SuperAwsomefication I'm considering getting this phone, but my only problem with it is the setup of the texting keyboard. Is there another setting for the keyboard? What I mean is that I would rather the keyboard show the letter letter-for-letter, instead of three letters for one button. Do you know what I mean?

  • Hey does it have wifi

  • this phone looks so royal i cant wait to get my mits on it

  • Glad this company entered Canada, We need competition. Remember when Fido was still a great wireless provider, Hope Winds doesn't end up like them. Now it's time for more phone selections and wider coverage, especially in Ontario.

    Thanks for the video Winds!

  • how can i turn off 3G ????

  • i have the tmobile version and it does. sorry. i didnt know this one didnt

  • @LeynaKieu there is a qwerty keyboard. While typing in T9 mode you tip the phone horizontally and the accelerometer will notice it. It will turn into a qwerty keyboard.

  • Umm, do you even have this phone, because no it doesn't. It does not have a qwerty keyboard.

  • At least on the Wind version of this phone there is no qwerty keyboard

  • LAME no qwerty keyboard, i was so disappointed...

  • ya it dose have a qwerty keyboard

  • i forget the password ca you help me plz

  • does any1 know how to put the phone in silent mode with vibration

using the lower volume button doesnt do it

and neither does holding the # key on the dialer

    plzz help =P

  • @tsingh44

Try this, go into Settings--->Touch Settings--->Vibrate

  • i have a porblem on my phone that i bought

    can u help me plz

  • Hmm, no qwerty's on this one? The U.S. version of this phone for T Mobile has a qwerty for texting when you tilt it sideways, its picks up the tilt through an accelerometer

  • is it prounounced "how wee" or "wow wee"? I've heard it both ways.

  • @allanvs

i think its pronounced "who are we"

  • @allanvs its chinese, so its hwah-way

  • This phone is the same as the T-Mobile Tap.

So use that name when looking for reviews

  • @lalalahaha1234

True Tap and the U7519 are the same.

But unfortunately the Canadian version don't have the GPS and the QWERTY keyboard like the T-Mobile

  • yup you're right hotredmonkey, just got this phone today to confirm that.

  • is this phone wi-fi enabled?

  • no it is not

  • no, this phone isn't wi-fi enabled

  • Hello WIND!

    Some questions:

1)Can you type sms/web replies in QWERTY? It seems like this phone is touchscreen but it only allows traditional T9?

2)Can you multitask? As in, listen to music, browse the net, and reply to SMS at the same time while Google Maps is in the background?

3)What OS is this? GSM arena says WindowsMobile, but WIND page says BREW? So how do I install stuff?

4)Is there an app store? Not as good as iPhone's apps store of course...but at least something similar to that?

  • @AirForceElite

    1) Purchased the phone yesterday.

    Theres No QWERTY Option

Just the traditional keypad in touch.

    2) Yes you can minimize the apps etc....and open another one. Yes you can multitask

    3) Brew. You can install java apps

    4) you can get java apps almost anywhere for free

  • 1) I looked at the Wind Mobile U7519 Phone details on their website:

    'Keyboard: QWERTY Keyboard, Keypad'

I haven't seen the phone in person, but are you sure there is no option for QWERTY? Thanks.

  • @robmundo

yeah i have it, there's no option for qwerty keyboard. thats the only downside.

You can try out the actual phone at the Wind store before you purchase.

  • @HotRedMonkey one more quick q. have you tried tilting it sideways while texting? I know there is no menu to switch to qwerty, but maybe if you tilt it on its side it will switch to qwerty (at least this is what happens with the Tap). I wont bother you anymore though. :D

  • @robmundo

Nope you can tilt it but there's now layout view. and no QWERTY keyboard.

If you can find a Java Qwerty keyboard and installl or something will be tight.

  • Damn that's lame! If i come across a java one, l'll let you know. thanks for the info.

  • can we see what browsing the web is like with opera mini? thx.

  • Nice Video. Just a suggestion..could you show how to tether with this phone?

  • I just tried that phone today on one of the demos and it doesn't seem like you can type landscape. There is T9 and that other way. :)

  • awesome video! i love how fast WIND is releasing all this info!!!!! crazy. i'm getting the $35 plan. even though i need to downgrade from an iphone 3g, still worth it.
