  • Paula: Of your uploads stating the case against corporal punishment in schools, this is the best I have seen so far. (And your other uploads are quite good as well.)

The 14-year old girls looks, talks, and acts more like an adult than like a child. So it is particularly offensive that teachers at her school would paddle her peers. It is bad enough to paddle little children, but paddling women who are almost adults is even worse.

  • AMERICANS WILL ALWAYS BE DUMB AND USELESS DUE TO A LACK OF DISCIPLINE AT HOME AND AT SCHOOL BECAUSE CHILDREN CONTROL ADULTS. ADULTS HAVE AUTHORITY OVER CHILDRE WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.

  • @isaaccontractor You need to learn the difference between the word "weather" and the word "whether". The word "weather" refers to atmospheric conditions.

  • @sthomaslewis don't fucking school me i know why don't you try typing fast dumb stupid american and i won't spell america with a capital letter

  • @isaaccontractor I am sorry that you need to use the "f" word in order to express yourself. Could that be as a result of your being beaten too much as a child?

  • @sthomaslewis dude i never said anywhere in my comments that i was beaten too much as a child you dont know me and ill say whatever i like o.k

  • so when a child talks back to the teacher they should do nothing, so when a child curses at a teacher they should do nothing , so when a child bullies others they should do nothing, so when a girl wears inappropriate clothing they should do nothing

detention wont do anything, giving warnings wont do anything , expultion wont do wnythin but lashing them or forcing them to clean floors will teach them

  • @isaaccontractor Beating a child will teach him that it is legitimate to hit someone if he has more power and authority.

If a student does not wish to behave in a class, then he should be expelled.

You might consider proofreading your comment. It is almost incorherent.

  • @sthomaslewis o.k let them do what they want and fill the prisons to the maximum in the future........

for every wrong doing there is a consequence........

  • @isaaccontractor Prisons are filled with people who were physically abused as children.

  • Respond to this video... where i come from we dont complain about being beaten for not doing homework or coming to school late we accept it not because we are brainwashed but because we are civilised

  • @isaaccontractor You certainly did not do any homework in relation to your writing skills. Why do you write comments with little regard for spelling, punctuation or grammar. Perhaps the brutal treatment you received when you were in school had a detrimental effect on your writing skills.

Even during the late 50s, we were never beaten for not doing homework.. And we had better writing skills than you are demonstrating.

  • @sthomaslewis its called typing fast when someone types fast they might leave a letter out by mistake........

  • Respond to this video... and i don't speak or wright in american English i wright and speak British english

  • @isaaccontractor I did not know that the British spell the word "write" as "wright".

  • @sthomaslewis spelling mistake i was writing in a hurry and fuck head

  • Respond to this video... im not saying i personally did not do any homework, im just saying what were and is the consequences of such offenses in school.

  • @sthomaslewis fuck you bloody bastard ill wright how i want to o.k i dont speak or wright in american useless english i speak and wright in BRITISH English, it is even written in the bible ''he who spares the rod but he who is careful to discipline him loves him''......

  • @sthomaslewis Omg, you just powned him lol. You rock.

  • @mickey3348 fuck you go rebell and die

  • @isaaccontractor Nah, I'd rather just laugh at your humilliation....hahahahahaha

  • @mickey3348 fuck off

  • Comment removed

  • @sthomaslewis when i talk about corporal punishment i dont mean ruthlessly beating a child till they bleed that is completly wrong but atleast give them three lashes nothing more nothing less or if that is too harsh then make them clean the toilets or sweep the classroom,... you think that corporal punishment is all about ruthlessly beating a child until they bleed well you are wrong corporal punishment can be regulated .

  • @isaaccontractor Where do you draw the line? If you give them three lashes, then why not four?

  • @sthomaslewis in my country Botswana by law students can only be lashed three times if they are beaten more than that then the person responsible would be fired, and anyway i don't care about stupid bastard dumb useless american teens, I've got one year left in this american useless public school system then I'm off to my home country i wasted my life and time in this undisciplined country.........

  • In Singapore, students get canned for serious offences; and the criminals too (think vandalism and armed robbery)...

  • @jonnyenglishlim In the middle east women get lashed for wearing trousers. And in the middle east, you can't even take a bus without a good chance of a bomb going off.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters it is against their religion for women to expose there bodies

  • @jonnyenglishlim and that country probably has a low crime rate due to tough law enforcement

  • Unbelievable...

  • @wiecbb11 Dear Wiecbb11, Please read the first 3 pages of the three recent reports on the current conditions of US "school corporal punishment." They are located on our Home page surrounding a photo of a hand held paddle. (see ACLU, GAO and UC Davis reports). I hope you will educate yourself and help others to end the day of violence as a means to peace. Best to you, Paula Flowe The Hitting Stops Here Dot Comm
  • What comes around goes around. I'm willing to go to jail to protect my children. my sons school has a no tolerance policy if there is a fight all involved gets suspended even the innocent one getting beaten up. my son was the innocent one once, he got suspended for a week after my husband & I finished with the school he was back in the next day, soon as the 3 bully's came back we started home schooling our kids. If your child is not safe in school then they should not be in that school

  • um.... shouldn't we be more concerned about what they did to get paddled? what did they DO to get paddled as opposed to is paddling fair.....

YOU NEED TO REVERSE YOUR THINKING

YOU DIDN'T GET PADDLED FOR BEING GOOD STUDENTS come to think of it....you should get paddled for making this video

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @wiecbb11 Yeah, you are right. How about the little 5 (FIVE) year old that got paddled recently for barking like a dog in the school cafeteria....OH THE HORROR.

She in fact was paddled twice in one day and then had to be counselled to go back to school.

    Hows that? Sound good?...pffft

  • @paulaflowe Hey, I agree with you and I think so does fitasafiddle123...I think their post was sarcastic and targeted at wiecbb11

  • @fitasafiddle123 Instead of counseling the child to go back to school, she should simply have been removed from a school that would paddle her for barking like a dog. Barking like a dog is not totally abnormal behavior for five-year olds She would be better off not being in a school that beats her for such typical behavior.

  • @fitasafiddle123 so then what should they have done huh tell her to keep quite politely 100 times

  • @fitasafiddle123 no i would make her kneel on the floor or clean the school bathrooms or pick up rubbish around the school, there are many ways to punishing than just using a STICK or board,

  • @isaaccontractor OR how about taking her and YES, talking with her. NOT beating her with a board.

That five year old btw, had to have counselling afterwards before returning to school.

And kneeling on the floor? Cleaning bathrooms? She is FIVE years old??!!

  • @wiecbb11 Students are paddled for the most minor infractions, being late to class, not having a shirt tucked in, chewing gum during lunch period, ect. I would think that students would only be paddled for stuff much more severe such as drugs, not that students should be paddled for that either, usually for drugs a student would be simply expelled. Paddling should be banned.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters it teaches them that the next time they do it they know what will happen to them

  • @isaaccontractor That doesn't work if the student doesn't cooperate about being paddled. A student could simply not let themself get paddled.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters there is no refusing you dont disagree with an adult, you american teens have too much freedom no wonder why you dont like being disipliend

  • @isaaccontractor I can disagree with an adult, or anyone else for that matter, all I want. This is a free country and with that comes the right to disagree. You can never have too much freedom. As for being disciplined, I've got self discipline and thats all I need. And you need to learn how to spell.

  • @isaaccontractor ...nice grammar!?

  • @fitasafiddle123 spelling error dumbass

  • @isaaccontractor 'youth' is right, you need to use proper grammar....sums you up i guess!

    FAIL much?!

  • @fitasafiddle123 are you my english teacher or something you dont fucking tell me hhat to say ill say whatever the fuck i say alright so go fuck urself

  • @isaaccontractor OMG go back to school. And try not to beat little five year olds with boards. Ok?

Good luck with your beating of children tough guy!...lol

  • Here in the UK corporal punishment in schools has been banned since before I was even born! I never even knew it was going on over there! Everybody who supports it should have it done to them, including the government!

  • @thebutttunes I would bet that all of those who support paddling, were paddled themselves as children. I´ve seen many videos and they usually say "I was hit and I turn out OK". They do not question authority and they suject the young to the same humiliation.

  • @hinatah89 i dont think the paddle has ever been used here in the uk. the cane was most popular when CP was legal. but that was before i was even born. and yea ur right.

  • @thebutttunes Well I didn´t mean that paddling was used in the UK. (But it is irrelevant cause both paddling and caning are forms of violence). All I wanted to say is that those people who defend the use of violence, did endure violence as children. They interiorized at an early age that hitting was acceptable, and they preach the same mantra as grown-ups. That is the unfotunate truth.

  • @hinatah89 and i agreed with you....and just made a separate point to go with it.

  • @thebutttunes OK. When I first read it, I thought you misunderstood my comment. By the way, when were you born?. I thought it was banned by 1987 in state schools, but not until 1997 for private schools.

  • @hinatah89 oh i didnt know about private schools. i was born in 89. the end of 89. wish it had been 90 and i would feel younger LOL

  • @thebutttunes Well look at the bright side, you got to be born in the 80s, and experience some of the 80s, however brief.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters i was born november 89. so no i didnt really experience anything lol

  • @hinatah89 wtf in africa we dont use a paddle its called a stick or a chalk duster or a whipp not a paddle

  • TN allows school employees to paddle students just outside class where classmate overhear the blows, without parental consent or notification. Several "School Paddling States" have "Teacher Immunity Laws" to protect school employees from criminal/civil action. Our nation's most trusted Children's Health and Education organizations are Opposed to Corporal Punishment of Children. Please Demand U.S. Congress Enact H.R. 5628 "Ending Corporal Punishment of Children in U.S. Schools Act".

  • Has the young lady in this video considered organizing a walkout that will occur whenever a student is assaulted with a paddle? Even if only a fraction of the students participate, it could cause sufficient disruption to make the school reconsider its practice.

  • her daughters pretty cute:P yeah I bet those creeps are trying to paddle her..

  • @dustmagejr Hopefully, the cute daughter can learn some karate or other form of self-defense and use it on anyone attempting to paddle her. However, when I lived in Tennessee and Kentucky, I was aware that parents could have their children placed on a "no-paddle" list.

  • @sthomaslewis Our school district, provides no opt out form, you must submit a letter requesting exemption each year for each child to the principal. It is left up to the principal's discretion to approve the exemption from corporal punishment or not.

  • @sthomaslewis My point exactly sthomaslewis. I've got a heavy background in the martial arts myself and I've come up with some defenses against paddlings, to be specifically used when somebody tries to paddle you. As soon as I get a training partner I will make videos of it and put it on youtube.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters

Dear Youth Freedom Fighter, May I be your partner? We need to do this. Our American school children are waiting for relief in every way. I will fly to you to make that video. Please contact me. Let's do it! Their waiting.

    Thank you,

    Paula Flowe

  • @YouthFreedomFighters PS... I am quite serious about that offer!

    Paula Flowe

info @ the hitting stops here dot comm

  • @paulaflowe I sent you a PM with details about your offer.

  • @sthomaslewis no child has the right defend themselves against an adult when facing punishment, punishment is not a crime its a lesson of consequence

  • @isaaccontractor Being beaten is not a punishment; it is assault. And I believe that anyone, child or adult, has the right to defend himself against assault.

  • HB 916 which will Abolish Corporal/Physical Pain as Punishment of children in Texas schools. The U.S. Department of Education reports over 220,000 students are physically punished in U.S. schools annually, several students are injured and seek emergency medical treatment. School paddling is NOT discipline. It is child abuse! Grown men hitting school children with boards is wrong and has been abolished in schools in 30 U.S. states. Please urge Texas representatives to enact HB 916.
