I had problem with Leon on the Island, Village and the Castle. Its damn hard! The highest i could get is 4 stars. The funny part is i can get 5 stars on the Base on my first try : /

Have a go at Pueblo again. Do a lap around the level and get all of the time bonuses, then camp next to the church with the Riot Gun in hand. As long as you don't let the Bella Sisters get close, you should be fine.

I remember when I was using Leon in Waterworld (or the Island. I call it the Wharf). I had a little over 30,000 points, when I was suddenly grabbed by a Ganado. Not a big deal, I shook him off, but wouldn't you know it? Super Salvador was right behind me. Knocked my head clean off as soon as I got free.

The only difference between the versions in Mercs is the Gamecube version (and the Wii version) has a more steady flow of enemies, making that version a bit easier.

Two at the most. Sometimes you'll only encounter one, and very rarely you won't encounter any at all.

@huynh12312 Well, they have around 80-160 health, so do the math with the firepower stats in-game with headshot damage multipliers, etc. As Leon, about five to twelve Riot Gun shots to the head, if all pellets hit, will kill one.

You have to upgrade it fully to get infinite ammo and 99.9 firepower.

i have succeeded only short time after i wrote my last comment here (handcannon <3)

i isn't that heavy as i later noticed, to beat giant salvador you have to shoot about 8 times into his head, the best place to do this is on the roof of the building one of the salvadors is in at the beginning, because if he comes too close you can use this thing (i dont know the enlish word of it) to go to another roof and be save for some seconds.

I looked at all the upgrades for the handcannon on game FAQs and I found out that the handcannon cost exactly 790000. That's actually good though, since it cost 210000 less than the typewriter or infinite launcher.

and i have a glitch and cheat for you well if it does WORK with you um you can shoot him in the head about 3 or 4 times to kill him but if it doesnt work just keep blasting away

...Uh, shooting an enemy in the head to kill him faster isn't a glitch, it's a programmed game mechanic used in just about every game with guns ever made ever.

Given that you didn't specify who "him" was, I think that shooting things in the head is the preferred way to kill something in this game regardless.

Gong by that, if three or four shots with any weapon isn't enough to kill anything, then my game is not glitched...?
