Darney555 your pathetic. The SCA limits you in almost every way. Dagorhir is the ultimate sport and will kick your SCA any day. Its true people may break bones more but you play for fun not to pay medical bills and sit at home because of an injury.

Jimnagle, there aren't actually ANY Dagorhir chapters in Europe. Almost all of them are in America, all over. Go to Dagorhir(dot)com and check out the locations page to find chapters. The only out of US chapters are in Australia, Japan, Puerto Rico, Canada and mine, which is unofficial, in England

Are the rules sort of like SCA, where if you are hit in a body part, that part is considered out of commission? And head shots are a kill? Some of these guys seem able to fight on after taking numerous blows.

you can take one shot to any limb, and you then have a "useless" limb, but if you take two limb shots (for example, one arm and one leg) you would be dead, same for a single body shot. head shots get ignored (for safety reasons) except for small projectiles. also, unfortunately, some people will just ignore blows in order to keep on fighting. they get called rhino hides, and that's not a term that you want to get called cause that'll get spread around really fast: you get outcast quickly

Dont forget, if u wear armour, you can take 2 blows to a hit-zone, then it is dead. Then there are shields, that can only be broken with 2-handed weapons.

Stil, I cannot wait until I am 18, so our chapter can be lega, and I can go and join this.
