Its Baie du Tamarin. Google Earth shows the break well. Its the break on the south of the Bay. Lived there for 3 yrs. Awsome waves in 1991 15 foot. Guys surfed it from South Africa to Reunion and on to Mtius. Respect

the first wave on the footage is nowhere near Tamarin!!!! Further up to the this wavethere is another left, slab like wave called Rip curl!

Believe me, we tried but couldn't hire any surfboards.
So we swam out there and body surfed!!! was good fun!!
