my dad has an rs4, he was deciding between the two but went with the audi because he used to drive an A4 and loved it. personally, i prefer the e92 m3 (although i've never driven one) it's exhaust note is just orgasmic, and in all honesty rear wheel drive is so much more fun haha.

The RS4 had is ass handed to it by the new M3 in every review ive seen. why dont you type in Top Gear M3 vs C63 vs rs4... The RS4 got beaten by 5 seconds in a single lap by the M3.

It also give killed in a straight line (although the C63 beat the M3) by the others. The RS4 is a good looking understated saloon with a beautiful engine note however it suffers from dull steering and understeer (engine protrudes over the front axel). The M3 is better looking, faster and more enjoyable.. No contest
