  • Edwin, no need to be sorry. You are a fantastic player, and I wish I was half as good. I'm thinking that BIAB can, if you want, take you to that next step beyond.. I've listened to your other songs, and you're just a great player, and I truly enjoy listening. Thanks for posting your videos

  • Edwin, If you haven't had the opportunity, might I suggest that you take a real serious look at PG Music's Band In A Box. This program will allow you to put in chord progression and select from hundreds of styles as backing tracks. With the newer 'Real Tracks' feature, you'll get as close to a real band backing you up, the way you want to play, and not the exact same old boring track every time you play.

I'd be willing to bet you would enjoy it.

    Nice playing, by the way.

  • Thanks for the advice, I will check it out...about the old boring...it is call jazz classic standards, it was meant to be played this way and I like the new and the old jazz music.

    Have a great weekend!!!!

  • @jazzyedwin24 Edwin, I'm sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I understand that this is a jazz standard, and yes, it was meant to be played that way. However, your backing tracks are pre-recorded, so they never change. The Band In A Box program allows you to input the chord progression for the song, and it auto generates the backing track. However, it changes the backing tracks each time it regenerates, so it's not always the same. Plus, you can use different styles. Different every time.

  • Thanks you, I got it now and your right. Sorry.

  • Stunning...soulful and (very)rewarding listening to this awesome performance!!!Have a great weekend!!!!
