Im a Nutty boy from Down under and have Madness photos when i was lucky enough to meet the guys. Got a Madnees tatt all the shit a 48yo does.But this incredible album is pure gold.. It encaptures the true essence of what the nutty sound is all about...FUN..I,like most, play this daily in the car and never get sick of it...The only other song i flog is Benny Bullfrog..Is there a live version of benny out there....

Madness and London - that truely is a two sided love affair: a band that loves their twon and a town that loves their band like there is no other. To me this song, the whole album it is taken from, seems like a huge declaration of love and a big thankyou for all thst's in the past. Love it very very much. Thank you Madness. IN all truthfulness, I have played this album more times than all of the rest of my Madness albums combined. ...and that is a hell of a lot of plays!!! It really is an absolute masterpiece and two years later from when it first came out, I have not even grown tired of listening to the songs one little bit. It is a timeless classic and shows how Madness have never lost the knack for coming up with the goods. Just complete and utterly magnificent. They've earned this - truly!!!!

This is so much more than a song; it is a saga, an observation of life, a potted history and a dramatisation. Plus of course, and best of all, it is Madness, at their best in my opinion. Some great music here, a fantastic blend of musical styles - absolutely brilliant in short!

Without a doubt, Madness had a massive return to form with this album. Brilliantly well done and the video really gets your blood rising. What a celebration of history, music and wit. Just simply still one of the best bands around. Love it.

Madness are absoltely fab - it amazes me that nobody in this day and age and in my generation seems to like the them! I love all their songs but Madness, and this song in particular are my FAVOURITES!!

Zasadniczo nie jestem dużym zwolennikiem tej płyty. Jest "madnessowa" to się czuje, ale bez pewnego rodzaju wypierdu który kocham w tej kapeli. Ten numer jednak zasługuje na szczególny szacunek. Duża forma, zmienne klimaty. W dzisiejszych czasach tylko zespół o takiej pozycji może sobie pozwolić na coś takiego. Dla mnie faworytem jest część końcowa ,"karaibska". Ma to Coś co lubię w Madness. Odrobinę szaleństwa...

just a great ong, from a great album. went to the o2 to see them, and unusually the new album songs went down as well as the classics, unusual as normally everyone only wants to hear the old stuff, one of few bands where people shout play the new stuff :)

Fabulous song. I have loved Madness since the 80's and this just shows they can adapt to current times. This is a superb song! LOve the whole album. My 2 yr old son loves this song too!!
