i was there that year. 2008 will mark my fifth year going and in those past four i've seen extreme rain, ungodly heat, perfect weather that turned into a tornado, and snow. but it never stops me from going.

one time I was with my group and this huge dust devil formed up, the wind got up to a good 40 mph in there, and it knocked a bunch of tents down, almost hit ours but we got lucky. Also check out the LEX 18 weather broadcast the night Ichthus was happening, probably related videos.

This Ichthus was really bad for run away, or in this case, fly away tents. Then first day a huge tent went sailing over our camp site, it was pretty nuts. cool video though.

I was telling my mom about seeing the tent and she about died laughing! She said that if she didn't know it was a Christian concert she would have asked what they had been cooking in the tent! Anyway, she came to youtube and found the video. Thanks for putting it up! It is a funny memory.

This was absolutely insane. If I had not seen this with my own eyes then I would not have believed it. Also I think one of the people you caught running after the tent was our Pastor (too funny). You can see anything at Ichthus.

that's crazy! i can't believe you got it on tape! i was walking around between concerts and i looked up and saw the tent. it was insane! were you at ichthus 2005 during the tornado? that year our giant canopy tent flew down two rows in the air and one of the poles planted itself through someone's van windshield! another person's canopy pole drove through my sleeping tent, leaving a 2 inch hole...and it rained that night...a lot!

Hey I believe I was in the same place as courtneyqueen no joke if I'm not mistaken this was close to when Maylene was playing... it was amazing how many tents went flying during Ichthus. a dust devil actually formed real close to our tent area and I saw a canopy shoot into the air and crash about 50 feet where it took off... it hit a nearby tent and it was funny cuz the guys just kept on chillin underneath it was hilarious. That was awesome!
