@spuddo21 as I watch this I feel like I am on my couch at my watching these sequence of commercials, just like it was another day. I am 8 again. This is great, thanks!
One Christmas my siblings and I each got a Water Pet. I got the yellow bear, my older sister got the red bunny, and my younger brother got the blue cat. My sister later insisted my pet was really hers and vice versa, and my mother refused to solve the problem, giving the old "I don't remember" excuse.
...Yeah, I guess I'm still a little bitter about it.
This is the prime of my childhood. I remember so many. I miss those Saturday cartoons on ABC, FOX, and sometimes channel 44 or 12 here in the Bay Area.
@dinfg6 Same here. Right after school I'd turn the TV on to channel 2 to catch the cartoons. You knew it was almost time for dinner when "Out of This World" or "Saved by The Bell" came on.
I remember that exact Super Golden Crisp ad. one of my faves
I think I had a water pet
Now that "Perfect Strangers" is on DVD, I need to buy it.
what's the deal w/ all the dolls that grow hair? kind of weird to look at it now

The voiceover during the end credits on "Beetlejuice" and the ABC ID was veteran ABC announcer, Ed Jordan.
