Texas AM is NOT a military school. West point is a military school. The corps only makes a small % of students(1677 out of 48K). Of those only about 42% will actually serve in the military. The rest are just wannabe soldiers who will never wear a real military uniform but still act like they won a Medal of honor. If military membership was required for joining the corps, I bet you the corps membership would be even smaller.

Texas AM is NOT a military school. West point is a military school. The corps only makes a small % of students(1677 out of 48K). Of those only about 42% will actually serve in the military. The rest are just wannabe soldiers who will never wear a real military uniform but still act like they won a Medal of honor. If military membership was required for joining the corps, I bet you the corps membership would be even smaller.

The modern world lends isolationism, but these students far surpass anything I have seen up north (i have 7 different transcripts) or in Texas regarding wanting to SERVE and feeling genuine pride. in prestige rankings released a month ago the aggies were ranked 20th nationally in all time prestige. thats ahead of texas tech(42nd) baylor(63rd) houston(47th) rice(62nd) and arkansas st(107th).. the only thing irrelevant is your historical knowledge of football ,edward. and i think you have a hard case ranking aggies behind arkansas st.. 6-6 in sun belt is very different from 4-8 in the big 12.
