My boy bought one special order with the power premium option and I dunno what else. That thing pulled a Volkswagen Jetta in a 10-15ft long box trailer!! I'm trying to convince him to run it on Biodiesel. He pays 105.00 at the pump for standard Petro Diesel.
I've just started seeing the 2008 ford vans on the road. The grill and headlights have been redone. The buzzer ignition sound is a reminder chime.(Keys are in ignition). Commercial vans because of fleet costs can be a tin lizzie if driver comfort is not a virtue. No a/c, buzzer warning, radio delete, cheap seats, engine cover etc... Look at a ford vans headlights, look for chrome grill/bumpers. Go to the dealership where theres a lot of vans and notice the large diffrence between cheap vs fancy.
The chime is part of the premium power group option. Without that option you get the buzzer. Its a package option that gives you power windows ,mirrors, and aero headlights. The add on to the option is the chrome package, If you buy a new van ask for the premium power group option. Its the starting option for a customized van. Its gives you all the stuff you want, interior/exterior.
