i find that in every team sport you really become closer as individuals the more you spend time with each other. the reason football is a sport in which "brotherhood" is most present is because in football you practice every day for 2-3 hours. no other sport is like that. last season was the first time i had ever played football in my life, i was the starting kicker and we won the championship. i've never felt closer to a group of people in my life. for 3 months, they were my life.

Its the nature of the game, because the practices are long as hell, (during the spring, summer, and the season time is when you spend so much time with the team.) Also, the physical nature of the sport helps you build that trust between your team mates because you have to rely on each other to get through practice/games.

@kmoneykris ive been a soccer player as well, and I started playing football my junior year, and I can attest to this. Its the nature of the game, because the practices are long as hell, (during the spring, summer, and the season time is when you spend so much time with the team.) Also, the physical nature of the sport helps you build that trust between your team mates because you have to rely on each other to get through practice/games.

I have had to prepear m body more to play american football that i would ever have to to play football (soccer) and though i respect both sports equally i would chose american football over soccer. I play football and i dont try to boost that its harder or more work then any other sport cuz i respect the work others put in but it pisses me off when others try to tell me their sport is harder it all comes down to the player

@spacecadetz umm u do know soccer also needs balence, focus, alignment, reaction, and speed... see ur just another dick who doesnt know anyhting.. i playy football as a d-end.. but i played soccer also.. how bout u go and try out for varsity soccer.. u would die and be like...wtf did i get myself into.. so plz dont rash on other sports unless u have done them competitively

@dzolotaeko um dear dumbass.. I played Soccer since I was 10 and up until my Jr yr of HS (All-League as a JR). Gave it up because I was offered a D1 scholarships as LB. Yeah and FYI.. I played LB at a Pac 10 school. I also played rugby. I like soccer but I love football and I can't stand how people say soccer is harder than football. Soccer ain't half as hard as football - get that through your fat head!!!

football requirements: 10 seconds of running, walk to the line and wait 30 seconds, run for another 10 seconds. oh you might get hit a couple times but its really just not the ridiculously tough sport people make it out to be.
wrestling requirements: technique, strength, speed, the will to ignore pain, and the ability to go as hard as you can for 6 minutes in what can only be described as a full body sprint with every muscle working to its limit. try it for a month and talk then.

If you live your life by absolutes then you will just end up disappointed.
