  • I find this track very Alice In Chains influenced.

  • I also really dig this album. I do have most of their stuff, didn't bother any more after Psycho Circus though, for me the Kiss chapter was closed. You can't keep saying good bye and release a new album just for financial reasons :D.

  • awesome album,

  • @KattySciuridae This album is so addicting! So hard raw Kiss with bone crushing vocals and guitars!

  • At least on this album, Bruce Kulick was "allowed" to actually play some lead guitar! Unlike that ASS SUCKING BUTT MUNCH Tommy " Ace Wannabe" Thayer, who only "Attempts" to mimic Ace's riffs! Ace IS the ORIGINAL god, Bruce is Amazing, Thayer is a Fucking scum sucking POSER!

  • @cevd88 I totally tooootally agree!!!

  • @kisseroyagami i don't he not allowed to do what they won't allow remember and he can't really tell them off or they'll fire him lol want proof?.See Paul but mostly gene are controling and they're aiming to recapture what they had back in the 70's and unfortnately that means tommy has to wear makeup and pretend he just love's pretending to be ace when in fact secretly he feels like he's being treated unfairly think about it.He probably wonders why bruce, etc got there own image why not him.

  • @kisseroyagami as does eric and eric used to play with them already image how he really feels no one likes or loves pretending to be someone else they'd rather have been in bruce's shoes or vinnies because atleast that bastard was allowed his own image.Unfortnately paul is scared to fire gene, scared of losing him as a friend hes just too damn nice and never stands up to gene's bullshit i promise makeup was gene's idea as that fucker has self esteem issues.

  • Great album, to under rated.

  • Alice In Chains how about Kiss in Chains

  • This is easily one of Kiss's best albums, up there IMO with Destroyer, Creatures of the Night and Revenge.

  • very great vocals....beatiful voice

  • terrible quasi grunge

  • i think this album is fucking awesome

  • ALL KISS MUSIC KICKS ASS!!

  • gracias por subir el video! estaba cansado de buscar "kiss rain" y que saliera "kisss the rain" de no c kien mierda! xD

  • HA...THIS IS THE BEST KISS ALBUM EVER...BEST LINE UP TOO. DONT KNOW WHY THEY HAD TO PUT THE FUCKING MAKEUP BACK ON? SURE ONE REUION TOUR WITH MAKE UP FINE, BUT AFTER THAT GO BACK TO THE BEST LINE IN KISSTORY IMO!!! PAUL, GENE, ERIC AND BRUCE!!!

  • personaly heavier album than any KISSalbum SINCE THE ORIGANALS, , then bam REUNION TOUR FUCKN GREAT TIMES

  • fuck you guys grunge kiss is awesome!

  • brill

  • I LOVE THIS ALBUM!MY FAVORITE FROM THE "UNMASKED" KISS,THE MOST HEAVY AND STONED ALBUM.

  • metal kiss kicks ass. theres a huge change between this and detroit rock city. which makes kiss so badass

  • Anyone else hear a grunge "influence" in this or some of the other tracks on this disc? Probably why it's one of my favorites or just the edge they had on it.

  • Heavy Kiss! U gotta love it. Paul sings his ass off on this album

  • this album rocks! I hate when people say all KISS songs sound the same because they obviously have no f'n idea what they are talking about! Have them listen to The Elder and Carnival of Souls for 2 examples! KISS is so deep musically!

  • it's amazing how people think The Elder is more KISS-alike than Carnival of Souls. This is heavy metal, with elements of grunge, but still. The Elder has those horns and other shit that can't be considered heavy metal instruments(unless you're Jethro Tull)

  • @Zrinschchuck The Elder is more of a concept-opera album which is way out there but interesting to listen to.COS on the other hand is far more heavy dark rock which was a great direction at the time and still effen rocks! Paul on this album sounds incredible with unbelievable range!

  • I grew up on kiss...mainly the old kiss and I love them but I do have to say I love the hard darker music they did this album as well. Sadness though on their newest cd...kind of too old I think.

  • You wonder why so many bands let their sounds get stale, but take a look. KISS spread their wings and wrote deep DIFFERENT music during this era, did something different for once, and the biased pirkcs making up the listening audience couldn't accept it. Closed mindedness is what kills creativity. I'm just glad KISS had the good sense not to listen to them. It's albums like this one that show that KISS was more than a cheap marketing ploy. They are real musicians and real songwriters.

  • @drquesadilla I cannot believe I mucked that comment up by misspelling "pricks." My apologies. Biased pricks was what i meant to say there.

  • DOSE ANYBODY HAVE THE LYRICS TO THIS SONG

  • @ILOVEKISSTHEMOST Yeah, google.

  • i love KISS

  • This sounds like a mix of Alice in Chains and Ozzy Osbourne's solo career. It's very strange when you listen to this and remember Hotter than Hell or Destroyer, or even Sonic Boom. But, bands change sometimes, and I like it (as long as the changes are decent). Black Sabbath is another example of a band that changed too much with time, but I love all eras. I love how heavy this album is. Kiss knows how to do good hard rock, good heavy metal and good... grunge, why not?

  • It's shit on because it came after Revenge and seems kinda forced.

  • im not dissing KISS but u can barely Paul Stanley in this song ilove this album tho

  • any fan who shit on any kiss album can just count the money. They know how to touch a chord in all.

  • everybody ive talked has said tht they hate this, revenge and alive III. personally, this and revenge are 2 of my favorite KISS albums

  • i truly love the original Kiss lineup, but i think Kiss was at their best with Eric Singer and Bruce Kulic

  • @devmaster07 agree, and while the whole putting the makeup back on for a reunion was cool so alot more people could see what they were like in the 70's, I would've liked to see them continue with-out it and toured with Eric and Bruce. they were a much more heavy and relevant band with the release of carnival and revenge.

  • they should do a tour with the 1st half the elder and the 2nd half carnival of souls, how cool would that show be?

  • @fallenrocker100 OMG YOU ARE SOOOOO RIGHT!!! DAMN THAT WOULD BE A BAD ASS SHOW!!!!!!..RIGHT ON ROCKER!!

  • @fallenrocker100 So cool!

  • Respond to this video... This is a great song to listen to when it's storming out.Just opens your mind up

  • @robzombys1 Its a good song to listen to ANYTIME, for that matter, the whole cd is!

  • @fallenrocker100 the problem is that they never would lol... i wish though.

  • @fallenrocker100 That is indeed an awesome idea man

  • This proves just how amazing musicians they are! Kiss can do anything they want to: hardrock, disco, pop, grunge, metal...

  • I have been a Kiss fan for many yrs..to me they made a huge mistake by not pushing this record anymore than they did..this album in my opinion is some of their best work since Destroyer..dont get me wrong I'm not doggin any Kiss record because I am a fan but I really wish they would have pushed this record alot more than they did

  • i love KISS and i love this song, but its so unlike KISS. very odd album. like, this song sounds like if Kurt Cobain joined Metallica

  • @imakissfan57 This album was inspired by the then popular grunge.

  • @liamzuid hahaha. well yeahh i did realize tht.but i rly never expected them to acrually do soemthing like this

  • @imakissfan57 Well in the 80's kiss was really different. They didn't only put off the make-up.

    The music changed too.

The point is that people change.

  • @liamzuid well, true. but 80s KISS was way more like 70s KISS than 90s KISS ws to 70s KISS

  • @imakissfan57 Wrong. Sounds like Alice in Chains.

  • I might add one thing that might have killed it was it came out after the original(and Best) line-up got back together.

  • I dont know why so many people shit on this album...I think it it has some awesome tracks on it.....More than Hot in the Sade, or dare I say The Elder.

  • @66MrDonnie I agree!

  • @66MrDonnie More than most of their albums from the 70's to now.Might be my favorite Kiss album.I'll just tell u this....Paul and Gene never sounded this good with their vocals and Bruce 's style is incredible and Eric's drumming is topnotch and his drums are brain crushing

  • @66MrDonnie much better than elder..

  • @66MrDonnie its NOT the kiss sound thats why many people including me hate it.

Hot in the shade was ok & had some good songs on it.

the elder had better song on it than this. most people who like this CD are not really even kiss fans.

because most say they weren't wild about kiss but like this.

its good they released it, i just don't like it.

  • @MetalHeart8787 The only reason I have to disagree with you Metal Heart is, no two Kiss albums ever really sounded the same. With maybe the exception of Rock and Roll Over and Love Gun. KISS has always changed the format of their albums since they have been around......So I cant understand why you and others say it doesn't sound like KISS.But what the Hell, if you don't like the album, you don't like it.......I ain't gonna knock you for that....lol

  • @MetalHeart8787 I like this and I am a kiss fan.

I do like Hard rock and Metal this is sort of kiss gone metal.

Even though this is grunge, I hate grunge.

but here is actually thought of, paul has studied music at Juliard.

  • @liamzuid LOL NO sorry this is kiss gone grunge.

obviously you are young & missed the metal years, let me help you out.

Listen to creratures of the Night 1982, lick it up1983, Animalize 1984, asylum,1985

crazy Nights 1987, Thats kiss doing METAL & doing it Right.

  • @MetalHeart8787 KISS is the greatest metal band of all time! \m/

  • @ZakkandtheJ despite this cd, True!

KISS is the best & is my favorite band.

  • @MetalHeart8787 I like this cd it's so doomy.

  • @MetalHeart8787 Obviously you're great KISS fan and please @liamzuid need to apologize !! KISS is for a lot of musicians an inspiration !!!!

  • @MetalHeart8787 I actually think this is more stoner rock than grunge.

  • @MetalHeart8787 The Elder better than COS ? What a joke. This is more of a Black Sabbath Album and kicks ass. Kiss is the master of changes. You can't play the same kind of music all the time or people would be complaining about that too.The Elder is a lost gem but sounds wimpy compared to COS and every other Kiss lp.

  • @66MrDonnie the only thing good about this turd of an album is kiss ran from it and did the reunion tour.this is the worst kiss album ever.

  • @glynnracing79 Kiss were always consistently second-rate and unimpressive, no matter what genre they dabbled in.

  • I love this song!
