A few days ago I managed to bend the first hole, and I can now do that fine, but even though I tried to copy exactly what my mouth does while drawing other holes, it doesn't work! Everyone else seems to get it within half a minute, but I've been trying for DAYS! What can I do?

I got it! ;d just try tu draw hard and while you draw make a ''sad fish mouth'' :( ...Hah really try it ;d i learned it on C, harmonica, and tried on A...On A sounds better ^^ gd luck ;d

@kpotassium Dude, relax. You want something frustrating pick up a bagpipe. The harmonica is easy and very forgiving. If you relax, you'll do a lot better. :)

to bend just say "too",

tip of tongue goes to bottom of the jaw.

for normal notes, say "tea".

while drawing, for sure...

@jarry161290 I found bending hole one is far easier to get used to the technique. There is less worry about blowing in more than one hole at the same time too.

@paulramonfun just keep on trying i tryed everyday for two months and then one day i got a bend. and when you get your first it will be easy to bend. just draw and then move your tongue down while your drawing its really easy

Hey man this guys description stinks. Its all about how much your mouth is open. The easiest way is to say e then oh. The oh part is the bend. The deeper you say oh the deeper the bend.

I've been trying to do this "WAH-WAAH" sound on the third key for about 4 days and still no success :(..

All I hear is "WII-WIII" XD..

i can bend the notes but they don't sound soft and bluesy. they sound like a trumpet. especially 2 and 3 draw bends. would it get better with practice or is it just a problem with my harp?

its your harp....you can unscrew it and ben the ree outwards a little bit and it will change the sound

when you drop your jaw, drop the back end of the harmonica down and the front end up. This will further accentuate the bend.

@rockostas yes you can bend all the notes on any harp. but the high notes are much higher to bend than the low notes

Is it possible to bend a note when you are "tonguing " to get a single note, or do you always have to use the pucker method when bending the note?

you don't need to use pucker method but it's a lot easier than doing tongue blocking

Hi!.

I found your video worthy explaining. it helped me to understand how my face must "bend" itself. but i can not success yet. When i am bending my throat is like closing itself. and the bent note is hardly heard. i found it hard to open my throat when doing it.

Anyway. 10 starts video. keep that good work!
