I think the problem is the mike. It's probably just the cheap condenser mike from the video camera.

It's a pity that even good cameras often don't have a jack to allow an external mike nowadays. I have to record sound separately and dub it into the video afterwards just to work around the awful mike on my camera.

Thanks for your kind words. I made it my own.. no one has noticed yet that I changed the words slightly, to fit the way I was feeling at the time I recorded this.

As a singer song writer, I must say I love your rendition. You play it like it's your own. It doesn't sound rushed. Your voice for the style could not be more perfect. Some, can only hear the original and think it should be that way. But that version has already been done. And the last few days, I've had your version running though my head. Pretty cool :) The only thing that could make it better: Condenser Mic, Interface, Compressor, a Dead Room. For recording. Live, I bet you sound amazing

2/5 for the singing, 4/5 for the bluegrass twist and guitar work, all up 3/5. your voice is ok but the way you sing it doesnt suit the song, listen to the eagles version and try and get you voice to sing it like that and see how u go.

The whole meaning of the song is not communicated possibly the guitar is overshadowing little to quick concentrate on the lyrics and what they mean then the guitar. Still nice voice and good playing! x
