I will never be sorry for my generation creating bad music because its the first one that was actually supported by the previous one. The badass rock and roll that will never be replicated came out of rebellion to the elders, who seem to like todays music. Now rock lacks the attitude we love so much. People were only writing what sold the most and that seemed to snowball into what we call Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, and other rap and hip hop.

I don't expect anothet wave of quality bands like the ones who came out in the 60's 70's but there is alot of good rock if you look outside of the American charts . I won't get ineto specific names because of course it's just my opinion that these new bands are good , but I bet if you dig a little bit , you would find something you like .

The thing is, the higher we set the bar, the less shitty stuff they'll be able to get out and make money with and better things will come. Music today is pretty much mindless with the sole intent of making money. It's rubbish with expiration dates that the mindless listner enables. It is more about the ability of the 'musicians' to sell their image then the music itself.
