Thanks for posting this, i was in New York myself in 2006 for St Patricks day so this has brought back fantastic memories! I was very proud seeing the NY Celtic fans march past in the parade - theres few other clubs who have such a presence all over the world.

was in the pig n whistle in december there, quite a good boozer one of the lassies behind the bar was from Perth. My favourite bar was Jack Demseys round the corner from the Empire state building. Banter in there was top notch. The St. Andrews was good an all, only Scottish pub in New York!

was in demseys too,stayin roon the corner from it,radisson martinique top notch for value there,pay a bit extra and get the executive lounge for two hours 5-7 to get tanked up before you go out!demseys gave us passes for the empire state building for 6 of us,queuejumper ones at that!free gratis!!!worth a hefty tip to the barstaff!!...great memories to take home with photos of us all upstairs beside the statue of liberty banner..yep demseys too,how could I forget???

i ended up in that Radisson hotel with this mad bird i met in Demseys lol in the morning i didnae have a clue where i was still mad wae it. am going back to New york for three weeks middle of June cannae wait!!
