I was once in such smoke test. It was pritty awsome, when you add this bright pulsing light, you have this feeling you are high :) Only this tool is expensive. 50$ for one smoke party.
The smoke itself is non toxic, dry and guaranteed not to leave a residue. The base of the fog solution is either glycerin or glycol.
Both glycerin and glycol can be found in foods and beverages, glycerol serves as a humectant, solvent and sweetener, and may help preserve foods. It is also used as filler in commercially prepared low-fat foods (e.g., cookies), and as a thickening agent in liqueurs.

You are correct that the "smoke", is in fact a thermally generated fog and as such is millions of microscopic liquid particles (or an aerosol to give it it's correct term) suspended in the air.
Light refracting through these particles gives the dense white effect.
The E-Series range of Smoke Screen generators gives a class leading particle size with Mass Median Diameter of a mere 0.2microns. This has 2 benefits: Extremely long hang time, and a guarantee that it will not deposit. IT Safe
this is why I allways bring my hairdryer when im doing a heist lol

this is a fire suppression system?
paul9511 1 year ago
@paul9511 In a word, no. It's a system designed to deter intruders.
It does this by confronting the intruders, and removing the items they came to steal from sight.

Interesting thought, but not one we can fulfil currently.
The sheer logistics involving the heater block would prove very cumbersome.
