  • geiles video! Weiter so!

  • @takeschis

da kann ich dir nur zustimmen. Dieser Jack300333 scheint mir ein sympatischer Youtuber zu sein !!!

  • Soundtrack = Clubbed to Death (Rob Dougan)

  • i got the new ti nspire with tocuh apd : )) whats this song called?

  • I think the fact that I even watched this video increased my nerd rating by about 10 points... that's not including the fact that I enjoyed it...or that I recognized the music is from the Matrix 'Red Dress' Simulation...

  • Actual playing with the calculator is good because like learning about a foreign language it gets them thinking about math. Commands to solve math problems are nice, but much nicer are commands which allow the user to symbolically and manually solve math problems like row operations in a matrix.

  • I just see TI not getting the hint. An advanced 21st century calculator needs full color. Greyscale still. Casio has a black and white CassPad. The idea is great it just needs color. 3D graphing is so much easier in color. Calculators have Derive on them. Why does only a computer give it color?

  • So it's a TI-83 with CAS. My TI-89 is more powerful than this.

  • Why isn't the display backlit and in full color? I like to do bed in math in the dark. I would like a fully backlit calculator including keys and a full color display, not just 4 colors. It makes graphing so much easier in full color.

  • So the Ti-Nspire CAS Touchpad is the latest calculator as 2010? It is better than the Voyage 200? Higher display quality more advanced mathematics functioning? Still no full color backlit display though. It is an improvement over the Voyage 200 besides the display?

  • Love the music: (Clubbed to Death - Matrix Soundtrack)

  • Can't you do all this on an iphone?

  • certainly not everything, but most basic stuff will work

  • @supercooldudeism the ti nspire cas has a computer chip in it its not a calculator.. its a computer.

  • Calculators are computers. They're not as advanced, as a laptop, but they still compute like computers.

  • @7thrx not ALL calculators are computers, only ones with a COMPUTER CHIP in them are, you dont call a light bulb a computer just because it uses electricity!

  • @7thrx True but why can't TI come out with a color TI-89? Full color. No more greyscale We can pick desktop themes and graph colors. Portable color graphing and labeling axises other than variable names? How about it TI?

  • @7thrx For integration color shading in colors of our choice.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne I think it would be very simple to do all of that. I would be a bit worried about how much it would cost with all of that. It's a calculator and not a facebook page too. I imagine all the high school algebra students with an over powered calculator would spend more time fiddling with the color than worrying about the addition most of these TIs are sentenced to do for the rest of their lives. If you want something more robust you may check into Matlab.

  • Great hardware, but the TI-BASIC language built-in is terrible. You can't even create a decent game in it and even for math programs the lack of an Input function sucks.

Fortunately, people found a security exploit in the software, though, so ARM assembly language programs will soon be possible. Some even pre-emptively started writing a TI-89 emulator for the TI-Nspire and even stuff like a Game Boy Color emulator

  • Would you recommend this calculator for high school students? What about college students?

  • what is the track called?

  • Clubbed to death - Matrix soundtrack

  • matrix reloaded theme - Moby

  • i am getting the nspire not the cas the nspire has 2 keypads 1 makes it pretty much a ti 89 the other is the n spire I am in 8th grade going into high school algebra 1 and we need the 89 for about 90 dollars but the nspire is 140 dollars and i can use it throughout high school and college

  • It makes it a Ti83/84 on the other side

  • Hey Jack300333,

is the TI Nspire(without the cas) better than the TI-89?

    thanks.

  • Hi Jack300333, do u kno any place where i can buy the ti nspire CAS in store?? Thnx in advance

  • fuck for $1600 I can buy myself a top notch computer, or hire an asian slave..

  • 1600$??? i needed 2 buy it 4 school and i had 2 pay 70 € (thats like 130 $)

  • It's not that expensive. I paid $130 for a brand new CAS. You shouldn't have to pay more than $150-ish for a CAS.

  • thank you ;)

  • waooo i love it

  • I had to get one of these for pre-calculus

  • So far as I recall the TI n-spire CAS has a high-resolution graphics, which makes him very different than other calculators. Moreover the design of it is very impressive. Well, of course it is not the best calculator, but for that reason it is also not the most expensive one. It contains all the functions, which is important to a student (at least for me).

By the way, thank you for comment :)

  • I do have the TI-nspire but it can just do what the TI-84 Plus family and below calculators can do, but in a new interface. What I like is that it has templates for operations.

I would like to have the CASIO Classpad 330, because it has a better CAS than any calculator, and it has many things that separate it from other graphing calculators like, a touch screen, and advanced features for graphing, games, and solving.

  • thank you very much ;)

  • This is a good vid. Especially the comparison between the Casio and TI-nspire CAS.
