Don't forget that the people who are critical of you, are usually left wing people who base their opinions on emotions. Those people can't be convinced using logical explanations.

Those are the same people that need the government to protect them agains themserves.

It's funny though, I am a regular with Mr. Schiff's vlog, but as I sit listening it occurs to me - those of us who listen to him, know he's right already (we the choir) & know the simple and logical content is based on very few sound principles: spend less than one earns, be productive, and make a living by adding value to others' lives.
