I am really losing my patience with this guy - can someone be REALLY specific with the requirements? i stun it's head like CRAZY and slow it down enough to have it arrive at the fort door with less than 10 minutes left -

I never have less than 80% integrety before time runs out but it ALWAYS fails me.

@JacksVideosproductio cannons can be used by carrying a cannonball from a pile next to the ballista arrows, to the cannon and pressing O. you can't aim it, and it wont hit unless lao shan is far away or right in front of the cannon on hind legs. make sure to clear out the small path between camp and the cannons, ioprey will make you drop the cannonball and hurt you

@JacksVideosproductio tigrex weapons have negative affinity man. think of it as a negative critical chance ratio. good raw damage sword = make bone katana wolf > into bone katana shark > into bone katana dragon > into supremecy blade

it can be gotten soon as you unlock the teostra and daora village chief quests. need 4 daora tails and 4 teostra tails but it's worth it.

or - great hornfly saber. just catch bugs on 6* missions and you should get it

@oomisakin I am using Sakura horn with Rath Tasset (waist), and Monoblos mail(chest) and rest Monodevil armour. All slots have AP gem. Armour skills are AP up(small) and Adrenaline +2. Gives me 1201raw AP with Kitchen food (+5 felynes : Demonshroom or fatty tomato + Any meat) and hp down to >40%. I chose the Sakura hunting horn because I can play notes to cancel out ground tremors (DB,LB, DB discovered by luck) and it has dragon attribute. Not managed to do it yet.

I used the Great Hornfly Saber (LS) to repel the NORMAL RED Lao Shan Lung. I just bombed the head once with Supply Lg Barrel Bombs and I just spammed head attacks until it went to area 5. I also placed an Anti-Dragon Bomb on its back. Then in area 5 I used 10 ballista shots, 1 cannon shot and 1 dragonator use. Then I spammed its stomach. I repelled it with 60% integrity. Hope this helped. ^^

This shit is impossible when soloing. It took 2 1/2 people with dragon weapons to kill this shit and they almost didn't finish in time. Azure ogre sword put some work in too.

only make him flinch when hes on all four legs, when hes on 2 the fort takes no dmg but when hes on four it takes 10%, try using something better than eternal strife, use a longsword like red d-sword if u can make it

Killing Lao Shan Fast: Be sure to Bring Large Barrel Bomb(+) and use long sword (Wyvern blade blood or maple or use smolder) When he enters the area just hit the head until you can hit the stomach, if you can plant the anti dragon bombs,do it! if he's at the final area be sure to still attack until he's much more near to be damaged(alot) by the ballista's then if he is in standing mode use the dragonator when he's stomach will be inflicted by the dragonator,do this then he will be surely be dead

id rather hear what weapon type you use im a ls user, if you have full rathalos youll be fine, hit his head like crazy and try to get a weapon of your preference with dragon element, i have the black sythe and smolder dragonsword you hit his head and hell stagger alot, msg if you have any more q's

ok for lao since you use a ls get a fire element weapon like the wyvern blade fall or better then aim for his head only after a good amount of hits hell stagger, he has 20k health so use ur anti d bomb on his back lg barrel bombs on his face and just keep hitting him, once you get to the last area( i usually have around 90% fort left and 10-9 mins left) use the ballista on him and a cannon ball, when he gets close enough you can use the dragonator on him msg me again if you need more details

in order to make it effective in killing him just attack only the stomach and dont cave his back cause you waste time on doing damage. Trust you will pass the quest if you do what i do.

only thing i can suggest is capture....don't ask me how b/c it's pretty hard to determine when blos is weak. some say when he goes into rage mode after one hit, but thats not always 100% accurate.

dont campute kill him. and if u wwana capture him and u are very VERY good at dodging his attacks get an armor and get tranquilizer gure that will tell u when hes weak so u can caputre i say that tigrex normal armor works fine because is easy to make/get materials 4 it, you can get ear plugs with one slot weapon
