@imintheband4 Not to be mean, but Benjamin was already alive then. True, the musical does overlook the fact that Benjamin is younger and the only full brother to Joseph, but they did get that right. Benjamin's birth happened in Genesis 35:16-18, which I am guessing was at least a few years after Joseph's birth. Joseph was sold into slavery when he was seventeen (or maybe a little older, 17 was just when the dreams started), and it is described in Genesis 37:12.

Ahhhh, Donny Osmond...I was fortunate enough to see him 3rd row at the Chicago theatre performing this role... it was one of those things that was just destined... I had no tickets, strolled by the theatre before the show, and ended up buying incredible seats! He was BORN to play this role! BTW- 14 dislikes- REALLY!?! FOR WHAT?!? How can you not hear this song and feel... just... GOOD!!! If I go to Heaven some day, Donny will be one of the people waiting for me, in this beautiful coat! :-)
