Well, I remember the last stage in Golden Axe I for Megadrive/Genesis and PC were full of enemies, and if you tried to defeat them by close combat, it would be certain death. The only solution (found by my brother) was to throw them at (or make them walk to) the several pits that infested it!

Technically this is just the level 1 bosses turned to midbosses. And even the level 1 bosses can be easily killed if you're savvy enough to hold on to one of the rides you find by constantly ramming them.

They're technically only subbosses. You fight them earlier in the game as actual bosses and can't drop them off a cliff at the time, lol. Designers probably wanted to make the second time not as annoying since it's just ta random encounter before the real boss.

You can actually save your magic for the MAIN BOSS instead of using it against the 2 minotaurs as you can just kick them down and finish them in a split second...

It's a quick way of repositioning them to fall down the pits when they walk down towards you. Usually, both fall at once.

Looked more like Mini-Bosses to me since the level was not over after you killed them.

A real Boss should not be able to die that fast.

I know that there are bosses that can die that fast but most bosses should be a challenge.

Atlest the first time you fight them.
