If you're ok with a 2 seater, the Lancair 360 is one of the most affordable planes out there. You get to go 190-200ktas on 10gph...that just doesn't happen very often. :) 690 hours in 11 months, that's IMPRESSIVE!

I have been looking at picking up a 360, just sold a 337. I should have been committed to an asylum my first year flying. I purchased a 1966 Cessna C-150F (N7970F). I put 690+ hours on it within 11 months. My wife thought I was having an affair LOL.
