bought this helmet and absolutely love it. I bought the cold weather version, and the only time it has ever fogged up on me was when the temperature dropped below 0. The fitting is excellent nice and snug but doesnt feel like its squeezing at all. All around an awesome helmet

I have a GMAX helment 44S and the screws holding the visor and jaw bracket have stripped out. Only used a few times. Sent GMAX (GAMMA Sales) an email. No reply. Service from this company is non-existant. Can not recommend a GMAX helmet.

ive had this helmet for a year and a half now.... it is pretty good but pretty loud... the visor doesnt like to stay up after a while... you change the batteries by unscrewing the back cover.. this is not good for cold weather... perfect for summer the antifog really works but when its really rainy and cold its actually worse bc all sides fog up lol outter inner and in between... its easy to replace shields... the interior is very fragile.. helmets decent i got lmt ed. for 135

these gmax helmets are seriously light. like really really light. i bought a dirtbike one. i foget which model but i compared it to my old helmet and its a huge weight difference

I got my Grey/Silver Crusader in XL for $125 off E-Bay.

You do need to understand that with the vents open this helmet does whistle quite a bit. Along with the top ridges catching air it'll push your head around at highway speeds.

For the money though it's well made and very comfortable.

quick question. im not sure how true the color is in the video, but is this helmet pretty dark? they dont have the Dark Silver in my size but they have it in flat silver.

so anyways, is the one you got pretty dark overall?

its pretty close to being true... its a fairly dark helmet but not black..

i have this helmet, fit is good but it is kinda loud, the reason for that is mostly because it has so many vents.

I actually bought this helmet as my first ever helmet and I sent it back to get a Shark RSR2

I think there was a lot of noise and buffeting at speed as well.

still a great helmet for it's price.

I actually look around Extensively and research high end helmets and I can't get away from the RSR2 the lineing is the most plush ever created :PPP

Been down one with this and it held up well. Onto my second and it's really a great helmet for the price (I paid 100). Looks Great, Feels Great, and Performs. O and they dont claim to be "The best fit helmet" just "The better fitting helmet!" Read the box!

How come in the video "ZX6 Gear, Kawasaki Joe Rocket" you said you don't really use the vents for the helmet that much cause you stay pretty cool, so why did you buy a helmet with a million vents? haha. not trying to be mean or anything, just wondering.

lol, you got me. Pretty much the only and single reason I bought this helmet because I heard that it is the quietest helmet on the market.. I tried one on at a fair we had, not this one, and loved the fit, so I went on an online auction site (you know the one) and bought this helmet. It fits awesome!!!

Just rode around with mine today for about 3 hours, way better than the $140 hjc i had borrowed as far as aerodynamics. nice helmet, comfortable. a minor drawback is even with the mouth vent open it still fogged up some when at a dead stop, There is a net across the chin area to keep wind and water out i suppose and that may have some effect on the fogging with the air not being able to escape as well. Overall it is a pretty awesome helmet and i'll definately be hanging on to this one.

After much hassle with the dealership i bought my bike from, my hjc never came in and they offered this instead. I looked it over and it is a killer looking helmet, It feels very comfortable as well and does indeed have a more snug fit than the hjc, not to mention the safety of the led light. I have not ridden with this helmet yet but once I do I will repost if I don't forget. :)

You can get different pads for your HJC if you want it to be a little more snug.

I've seen it anywhere from $140-180. Online auction sites normally have them pretty good. Ya I got a steal for mine with all the extras..pays to be nice. lol

The fit is much, MUCH snugger than the HJC, both are large but the GMax I know will be a quieter and more comfortable ride

Looks great thanks for doing this..give me the update on the noise level man as I have a hard time finding them that are quiet. If they are quiet they tend to look ugly but this one looks awesome...let's hope its quite and 5 *****
