The easiest way to defeat the scarab is to shoot it's ass with missile pod, while it's climbing down the building. It takes only a few second.

I usually never waste ammo. I always meele grunts and the dudes with the shields or use their weapons but i never use my weapons.

I think you at least use your weapons against the brutes,and the dudes with the shields are called "Jackals".I just got Halo 3 friday!!!!

Yeah i never use them but with grunts as well. Brutes can be beat down using meelee if you're fast.
