man.. you didnt even explain why you picked the corners. ----basically a tracker needs high contrast image. that's why he picked the one with black and white in it. also... if you dont have black and white next to eachother.. tracking programs like boujou, matchmove and pftracker ... uses shapes and contrasting colors.

That happens 99% of the time. Tracking is mainly done by hand. It did it so well here because it was a picture frame.

You need to pick a really high contrast area to track.

Try tracking a different spot. The bolder, and higher contrast the better.

Prog gets confused easily in low contrast areas.

Cool, I'm still trying to get a better understanding of track points. Some tutorials say it's best to have the two track points as far away from each other as possible, and here you said to put it on the corners of the object. I guess it depends on what you want to do ?

how do I track a morph on a face using the liquid effect kind of like andrew kramer does. I cannot get the morph tp stay on the face. I shot the footage from a tripod so it is already a stable shot. I have been at this for days like a moron and cannot get it :*( any ideas?
