@1337relax Intel is generally quite good. The budget option would be the i3 2100, and the 'beefier' option would be an i5 2500k, although a i5 2400 would do just as well.

As for AMD, they're good at laptops, particularly their Llano processors, which are pretty fast and have fairly nice GPUs built in.

But for desktops, Intel is winning at the moment. AMD graphics cards are still pretty good though. Do you have Steam?
