This looks very cool. Darnit, I have a whole bunch of 3D glasses around here, but I recently did some organizing, and now I can't find them, lol. I'm gonna find them and watch this! O_O
It's been a while since I made this but hopefully I can remember. For creating the animation I used 'campath' plugin for Terragen in conjunction with another plugin called 'stereoscopic'. I then had a set of left-eye and right-eye frames. I created a simple java program to align each frame side by side. I then used the batch mode in 'stereophoto maker' (aka spm) To create the merged anaglyphic frames. For converting the frames to a movie I used 'mpeg stream clip'.
Another way I could have done this would be to initially convert the left-eye and right-eye frames into seperate movies -- and then merge these 2 movies into a stereo-movie or anagylphic movie using 'stereo movie maker' (by same author as SPM).
This was an interesting experiment for me because I was new to all the software. I only just started studying terragen and also making animations. I had fun making it!

I found my 3D glasses -- this is cool! Made me dizzy. O_O
I know with several of the Mars landers, JPL provided 3D scans of the Martian surface.

Hi Steve, thanks for checking out my video :)
I've seen some of the 3D stills from the mars landers.. they are pretty amazing.
