  • best song in the whole play!!! (nxt to Tyler's solo "still rockin' ") although, Jay kicks major ass!!!

  • Does the style of dance depend on the director? A local theater is doing this next year and I want the lead soooo bad but I'm not the strongest dancer unless I practice alot! Is it mainly balet, jazz, tap or does it depend? I want to take this year to really improve my skills.

  • I played Ren McCormack this summer, not bad, the acting is slow as hell and the dancing is a little too toned down except for the dance break but the voice was pretty great and thats the exact the exact version we did. did you have a live band? it sounds like it, cause we did too and it rocked...anyways, nice job dude.

  • THAT WAS AWESOME.

  • i'm going to be playing ren at my school and this is by far my favorite version of this song. reminded me alot of the one i have to do in two weeks.

  • Nottingham HS's version was sooo much better. Schadrack was MADE to play Ren. Ren was sooo meant to be black :]

  • not to brag or anything but were doing this musical this year and our group is -in my opinion- waay better... i'll try and get a copy up on u-tube for everyone to see!!

  • this is the best performance ive seen of this song on youtube. tough song, well done.

  • I agree. I've been trying to find a good vid of this for about an hour now and this is the best of the one's I've seen. I'm singing and performing this song myself soon and I was looking for other vids... took forever.

  • This is pretty good. Its definitely the best outta the bunch. Good Job Ren.

  • Critiquester.....pathetic you are to make such negative comments.....haven't you learned that such is a true show of one's own lack of confidence in one's own self....my goodness!!

  • I think its actually quite good. The acting is not perfect, but its felt and understood, they are not just repeating lines, the singing is not perfect either but what the hell, its quite good and for an amateur play is awsome. And the dancing and tempo is great. Congrats =)

  • our school just did this production.

i thought it was kind of bland,

but our ren can do blackflips as well,

and he did so i thought that was pretty sweeet :)

  • sorry critiquester i just think that they are really good the only reason they sound bad is because 1. its recorded 2.its probobly the last night so there voices are scatchy and number 3....................

  • shut your mouth critiquester because there awsome and i bet you coud never act like that so shut the F*** up

  • your right I probably would act really crappy if I TRIED. Because that's just the thing. ACTING is NOT about TRYING. it's DOING and living in the moment as if you were the character.

  • i'm with critiquester, they're acting sucks the singing is meh, i've heard better, the dancing tho is awesome.

  • thats my cousin

  • There should be a warning on the title of this video saying "WARNING THIS MAY CONTAIN TOTAL CRAPPY,MINDLESS,NON-REALISTIC ACTING,SINGING,AND DANCING!!!

......wow and I thought our production was not that great.......boy was I wrong

  • Bravo, one of the best ones ive seen on Youtube. I played ren last spring as well and i had a blast. Its such a fun role and i can see your ren worked hard.(warren central musical footloose, in the related videos) sorry for the shameless plug ^^

  • hey...the actings pretty good!

  • blocking/dancing is great.. vocals...meh

  • I'll give your Ren this: he's pretty light on feet. He could have had more power in his singing and his acting could have also been toned up a bit. At least he hit the falsetto notes in his head voice.
