I know most BMG fans prefer Venus Hum but I just think it's insanely brilliant. Didn't know Kathrine Jenkins before, but she fits right into the song with her voice and right into the BMG (and the song too) with her looks. Btw nice variation with the guitar at 2:17.
Ummm that'll be the same Annette Strean who has developed vocal fold nodules for shouting her songs, needing a speech pathologist to relearn "singing" ability. I doubt you'd find an award-winning Mezzo Soprana like Ms Jenkins needing correction like that. How "GAY"

I don't know what a fold nodule is and I don't really have time to google it right now. What I do know is I like the radio version better. I'm sure this person is a fantastic opera singer but this is not an opera song. The sheer essence of opera dictates that it does not belong with anything but an orchestra or as a solo. Those wide open vowel sounds just sound like crap against a rock track. Surely you remember what happened when Pavarotti tried to do a pop album...? FAILED
This is really good in a way but in another way it just doesn't work. When she starts singing the second chorus I'm just taken aback and feeling many conflicting emotions. I think Annette Strean of Venus Hum sang this far better, and the dress doesn't really suit Katherine anyway, but I still like her!
I saw it on the royal variety performance and was awe struck at both her and the Blue man group... amazing talents combined to conceive an amazing end result..Her Vocal range is amazing , and the Blue man groups original ideas combined made it absolutely the best visual/vocals that i have seen or heard on TV for many many years ...
Katherine is awesome in this and her range of vocals made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. She can sing just about anything and should consider branching out into more contemporary music aswell as retaining her Classical roots. Looks great, sounds great, is great!! Oh, Blue Man Group were good too!
That was SICK!!
