  • This is one very "hurried" video. =p

  • the kick didnt seem to have hit him that hard; i wonder why Big Fam went down ?

  • what the hell is "big fam" ? he doesn't even have a record

  • chechen rocksss

  • Big fam i mean " big negro " gets knocked out !

  • que bien logrado aquel uchino mawashi,Lechi Kurbanov!!

  • Big Fam i mean "big negro" got knocked out !

  • BRAVO!

  • He is Chechen Fighter!!!!!

  • wow O_O

  • he is bigger than Lechi and heavier, so his punches are stronger but he is BJJ guy so he is 90percent of the fight fighting on the ground......but these are kyokushin kai/kan rules.....but lechi is more smarter than bjj gyu...he is using his legs for kicks....and bjj gyu dont know how to use his legs.....OSU!

  • @TheFudokan That was an awesome kick, and sure he is smarter "strike wise" because that's what he trains. But, tbh I think 90% if grappling was allowed the big guy would've eaten him alive, he ended up on the ground twice after missing the kick, and only got it after the 3rd. That's when the big guy, also having a good 57kg on him, would've had him good.

  • @mrkiky If grappling were allowed in this match, Lechi would never have thrown those kinds of kicks.

  • @dokokai I guess that's true... But I still think big fam would've had many more chances that way. Cause being a jujitsu guy, stand up is not really his game. Also, most of the times the jujitsu guy manages to get the fight on the ground. It also looks like they're not allowed to punch to the head , just like Kyokushin rules. This is pretty much Kubarov's game.

  • @mrkiky Your point is taken too... but Big Fam didn't have to take the fight. He knew the rules going into it.

  • @mrkiky lechi kurbanov saw that he could not beat big guy on strategy based on strength vs strength.....and big guy had strategy strength vs strength which is not good......kurbanov defeated him with technique and good strategy.....and look what is right corner... japanesse letters VS K1.....I think that it says karate vs k1???.. OSU!

  • @mrkiky lechi is real karateka...he is training traditional kyokushin..as oyama trained the others in his hombu dojo....many "Kyokushin" fighters are kickboxers and that is not karate which oyama taught!!! many of them are fighting in the ring like kickboxers in k1...but Lechi fights in ring for karate and he is fighting like karateka....OSU!

  • Big Fam , i mean " Big Negro" got knocked out !

  • HE'S THA BESTT!! Dal etto boyl h'a!

CHECHNYA IN FORCE / CHECHNYA FORZA / TCHETCHENIE EN FORCE /

  • Everyone should kick a" Big Nig " in the head and knock them out !

  • he won becouse, there is no grappling here, and no head punches. these are semi contact rules or something like this. with full contact or mma rules, this karate kid have no chance with big fam.

  • @kuczyLBN are you blind its obviously kyokushkai rules which are full contact but contain no head punches. That big nigger is a useless cunt but youre right about the karate lad being hammered under more realistic rules.

  • @kuczyLBN are you retarded?

  • Lechi Kurbanov is from CHECHNYA

  • trés ,trés, fort,osu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • true form will win over bulk power 9 times out of 10

  • good chechen!!

  • tatsumatsusenpukyaku!!!!!!! lol Straight up SHORYUKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chechen POWER !!!!!!!!!!!! IS BEST

  • that kick looks like it went over his head

  • bad camera angle

  • This is Chechen raw power

  • The black guy is 150 compardd to the other guy 95kg

  • It is such a pleasure to see such a disgusting fat arrogant black down.

  • I looked again..he did contact with the kick. Fam's head was hidden at the camera angle. It had looked like he was already bent over when the kick came.

  • I think he got him in the back of the head.

  • Did he even hit him with that kick? It looks as though he caught him with something else prior to the spin.

And holy crap! 55kg weight difference....geez

  • OSU

  • Well, in matches u play with rules. What u said is like saying open guard for jiu-jitsu is pointless in real fights because u get kicked in the nuts. Only stupid keyboard-warriors are talking shit about "WHAT IF...in a REAL FIGHT?" Bull shit.

  • My sentiments exactly :)

  • @greg2anda Well DOne someone on the internet that actually has a clue what they are talking about. Repped!

  • @greg2anda kyokushin is the way OSU !!!!

  • i've read the interview of lechi kurbanov. he says he was 100% sure that was going to win from big fam, if not with spinning kick than with low kicks.

  • The white guy looks like the singer from maroon 5 hahahah

  • please stop talking about that it is fake. you think thousands of people came there to watch a fake fight? it is NOT fake and the ko is real!

  • I sure would hope so... It would explain the horrible technique displayed... Anyone hear about balance and footwork in these circles?

  • yes but if they used proper stances and footwork then the striking would hurt and cause real damage. Since this is obviously staged, they dont need good footwork coz they arent trying to get any real power. This is the japanese equivalent of the WWF everyone in Japan understands that.

  • Asilentninja, you mean to say they're not even skilled enough to use proper technique AND have proper control? Looking at tournaments everywhere, the Japanese seem to be the worst off, as if Karate weakened faster at its point of origin.

I'll venture an opinion here. I believe martial arts as a whole are weakening because they're losing sight of actual martial applications. Anyone agree/disagree?

  • agree. I guess. I mean I didnt take karate 300 years ago so I cant compare it to my YMCA black belt but yeah, what you say makes sense to me. Isnt that true of almost everything these days? But what I meant to say was this is fake fighting and so the footwork is ignored because they arent trying to get any power in their techniques.

  • Form is always important. Otherwise it's not MA and it doesn't even up to uneducated street fighting.

It's not necessarily 300 years ago. If you look at Karate in the 60's (Joe Lewis, Chuck Norris, etc.), or most MA for that matter, they weren't nearly as bad as they are today.

Also, I heard on golf today that training in biomechanics is "the newest athletic science available". Funny how Bruce Lee got a hold of the idea in the 60's.

  • 3rd time lucky.OSU!!

  • i remember watching this all the kyokushin fighters destroyed the low rank k-1 righters

  • @kinghades what about when Filhio beat Bonjasky who at the time was K1 GP Champion?

  • @RocketRodden he remy down

  • trust me that kick landed. the aligator kick he landed flush to my jaw stunned me. it was more of the back of his calf that "clubbed" me. We were supposed to fight K-1 rules but it was changed to kyokushin rules the day before. Lechi is a stud

  • If you are who you are pretending to be then answer this...why are your hands down so low (especially in close quarters) and why didnt that guy break your nose a million times because of it? Or why didnt you break his coz his hands were down quite a bit too. Are there no headshots allowed in kyokushin?

  • yeah there were no head shots, gloves, takedowns etc. allowed. It was bullshit because they said it was a K-1 match, and they changed it the day before to kyokushin rules. Like I said he was ranked 5th in the world at the time and the money was good.

  • The heel caught the side of his head.

  • Big Fam was overconfident.

  • I'm pretty sure he hit, but it wasn't a solid hit either.

His heel caught either the back of Big Fam's head or something. It wasnt "clean", per se, but you can see the black guy's head bob.

The speed of that kick is enough to send the brain inside the skull for a little ride, and that's really what matters.

  • The heel caught the side of his head. Just because you didnt get the perfect angle of impact or a satisfying "smack" sound doesnt mean the fight was rigged.

  • are u people looking at the same fight I'm watching???? the dude missed him on the last kick, he did not connect the black dude ducked under his kick and went down, this fight is rigged. u gotta be blind to not see that.

  • I didnt think he hit him either, I hadnt considered it might be rigged.

  • I'm impressed Lechi could stand with this guy, i'm not impressed that it took him 3 times to actually connect with that kick. The point is that it wasn't a real fight, and he did connect, though.

  • respekt to chechen guy... he killed that nigger with one hit.

  • The dude with the black clothes taunted the karategi guy before he failed that kick in second 1:00.

I really laughed when he losed due to the same kick.

  • Very impressive, that Lechi. He took down a guy who had a height AND weight advantage; that fam dude weighed like over 60 kg more than the guy!

  • I'd love to see him in K-1, but i dont think he can do his favorite kick in K-1, well maybe he can, but it'll be harder, its different when you someones is trying to rip your head with his knuckles, but his good lechi kurbanov, i'll remember this name

  • kyokushin number 1 osu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yah

  • I also think that he should go to K1, this is the real test for his skills

  • From the 2004 "ichigeki, kyokushin vs k-1" show. It was a official k-1 event, but half the fights were with kyokushin rules.

Big Fam was carried away on a stretcher after the fight.

Fam was a Can. Not a rue test for Lechi. Lets hope he will show his stuff in K-1 soon.
