@CraZyCowMi1k i truly do now know. One possible reason is that you may have flashed too many times (unlikely) or a plugin you enabled is laggin it, or mem stick is too slow (aka fake) or you set the CPU speed to something too slow or PSP merely has problems

@DvdXploitr OK, At this point in time (1/1/10/), there is no permanent hack at all. It is because we cannot modify in the internal memory of the PSP. If we attempt to do so, the PSP will literally brick and become useless. There are only loaders and temporary firmwares unfortunately. Hope this helps

@DaXisAlive You just have to flash once, and yeah you do have to load up chickhen and then load it up again everytime you fully shut down. And no, there is no chance of bricking unless you keep flashing the files over and over and over and over which would probably stuff up the psp

@MySasukeuchija use chickhenmod. runs better. also, if you want to use gen, then you have to uninstall MHU first (you can do this by using the installer of a different vesion, eg you use 3.1, then use 3.2 to uninstall)

Make sure, when using chickhen, that there are no other images and the background is at the original one

@NovaN0va well, for the psp 3000, the creators of that 'M33' firmware (correctly is MHU) just threw together some crap and hex-edited stuff, [also they stole modules from GEN]. GEN-C can play the latest games, 'M33' is never updated anymore.

Alrighty, for other models of PSP, 5.00 M33-6 is the most stable and trusted out there, i agree also. But for psp 3000s and the ta88v3, GEN-C would be the best

@commandoboy12345678 Well firstly, you need 1. 5.03 firmware, no other images on memory stick, high free space if you are using chickhenR2, no wallpapers (leave on original), set character set to the second option, run chickhen the right way. (im using the mod version, so my way is different to the R2 one

If u are using this firmware then

if u turn off the power (like removing the battery) then u have to load chickHEN and GEN again.

I assume ur hidden games are the ISOs in the ISO folder, since only GEN can load ISOs
