2. The kick is drowned out.

3. You have frequencies clashing.

4. The samples are weak, I bet 16-bit 44.100kHz. Go with 24-bit you'll see the difference.

5. Music theory in your music is pretty weak.

6. You're lacking compression on many instances.

7. Use a gate to get the most important sounds to cut through the mix.

9. FL Studio is garbage. Get with Cubase or Logic.

@nytrousF Fl studio isnt garbage its all on the user of the software if the user is garbage then his music will be self explanatory and vica versa. I use Fl studio and has made beats that are directly stock sounds that have been on the RADIO so the software is all up to the user man. Plus many super producers prefer fl studio over expensive equipments such as myself

@JayK817 yea i agree. with fl studio its like u gotta tweak and mix and mayb stack sounds together to get a fuller sound.Ive noticed on most of these youtube vids that people make ther beats on seperate patterns. I use one all the way thru never hop skipping to other patterns for a sound. This givs the beat more crispyness 2. I used to do it the other way but now i look at it as lazyness.But anyways yea fl studio stock sounds arent great unless your great and thats about it.

I agree with Nytrous until he spoke on Fl. The mixing (if any at all) is terrible. I am not a fan of these types of beats anyway so I may be a bit biased. For what is on thhe radio, this song can work. Take your time with it next time. Get up on some mixing and mastering tutorials. 5mic is right though. It is all in the user, not the software. I've heard some damn near spot on remakes on fl studio.
