birmingham chubbs lmaoo its so funny as a english person watching how we are portrade in these sitcoms haha love this show though just watched season 1 up to here inabout 3 weeks lol
With the kind of money an English Premiere League player makes, he doesn't need to go to college. Not saying college isn't a good idea, but how many pro soccer players need to take calculus or creative writing or psychology...?
yeah, I loved the UK well london crazy mad with people though, I took a 1 week vacation and came back broke, hahaha you need a lot of money to wing it, maybe in the backwoods it may be cheaper.
@A16AdamWalker I am not sure what Dorset means but, what I mean by backwoods like country living far away from any major city, lets say texas but in west texas were I am from, the texas panhandle where you can see miles and miles of grasslands away from the majority population.
@berry77425 Dorset is one the counties in the South West of England, the only one with no motorway, so probably about as Rural as your going to get, with the exception of Northern Wales and Scotland.
Miles might be pushing it, theres always some kind of village around, even if it's only four houses big.
@berry77425 Cheaper than London yeah, but if you're looking purely at cheap living costs, you'd be looking at Stoke or Barnsley, former mining towns were 80% are unemployed
Actually, playing in England would be way better for Brad's career than playing in college in the US. Soccer is huge over there, he could do really well... make some money to pay for college.
@browneyedgirlm Only problem is £10,000 even by the standard at the time, would not be enough to live off in the UK, especially Birmingham. So he'd have to take a second job. Also there would be more competition from across europe against him in england, something else he'd have to consider.
@RealTime88 Yeah it might well be, but if it was £16,000 he could live off it, just... £10,000 no chance... i know the exchange rates may be different but try living somewhere like Chicago on $10,000... just not doable I'm afraid
1080 isn't exactly a "great" SAT score. scholarship might be his only hope.

I actually wonder if the writers wanted to use a 'simon says' joke for a long time and this was their chance to do it :)

Why is a millionaire software mogul tinkering with Tim's car? Rather... peculiar.

@manaburn just because he's a millionaire software mogal doesn't mean he can't have a hobby
