@telhacerta Echo is an improper term. The proper term is reverb, which would be like playing into a tunnel ro concert hall, where you hear the reverberations. Delay is completely different - that's where the physical note is repeated rhythmically, and is usually combined with reverb.

Well that is too bad. because this guy doesn't know much about delay. Actually many people don't like it because it is somewhat restrictive. The coolest thing you can do with a delay is play interlaced notes like you can hear in "moonspell - magdalene". Suckers only follow the rhythm of the delay (as for example heroes del silencio - Entre dos tierras) never forming backfiring effects like U2 or paul gilbert watch?v=GV5CeR_oQbs. This video, therefore, does not deserve a "how to use" title!!!!!!!

@axeiston You must put your delay pedal after your overdrive/distortion pedal so that the echo signal doesn't get distorted. Or if you're using your amp for distortion, you should use the amp's fx-loop.
