I'm afraid i mostly got my rigging chops from the 3d school i went to. Also, I use Lightwave and I'm pretty sure you use Max. Thirdly, it looks like you already got a pretty good handle on rigging, judging by your stick figure movie :-)

although there is one thing, when he knocks the red robots knee for reflex after the first hit it felt like he should pause. so it would give the feeling as if hes thinking - wtf?

Haha very creative. Another cool creation thats cute and violent at the same time...excellent combination. Other people hav asked, but add making a Transformer to future plans. I hav a million ideas people hav posted on my T-former vids.

This animation is cute as hell, it's really a challenge to critique your work 'cause you clearly put a great amount of effort into your animation. If I were to be a serious nitpick, I'd say maybe including a crash of the doctor robot after being punched. Seriously, though, you've done a great job. :)
