@KevinHeaven9: Probably for the same reason that I do: it's more accessible--more melodic, more structure to hold on to. Out To Lunch is completely Free Jazz.

Well, "Out to Lunch!" still has chord structures, but its rhythms created by Tony Williams are very advanced and unconventional. I love both of them.
