Adrian could also be to blame for Mutt's predicament, too. Though, Adrian isn't really a bad guy, but he's not a good guy either. It was the government who wanted to abuse the test subjects in order to create "human weapons", but Adrian still plays a big part in it. Though, Adrian wasn't present at the time of his experiment, that doesn't mean Mutt won't want some kind of revenge on the person behind it.
