Fat women are so gross. No guy deserves to have to settle with a woman that's fat and doesn't take care of her health/weight.
Guys are people too and it's like society has forgotten about us and what we want. It's always about what women want these days. So it's like society is trying to force men to accept overweight women as being attractive and putting down thin women that actually take care of themselves and their weight.
All women are here to service men - it's a man's world after all.
To all who commented and said that women should stop complaining about models being size ZERO and "read a fitness book" - really look at what this is about. It's about keeping women in the bodies of children, it's about showing that growing up is wrong and staying a child is right. It's abnormal to be size Zero and not healthy. When did size 12 become overweight? When models stopped being real women, that's when.
Are all of you too stupid to understand what I said? Did everyone miss the point entirely?
All you seem to be able to do is see one end of the spectrum, despite how much I advocate the middle.
It's NOT healthy to be that skinny. I know! It's also not healthy to be doughy!
I'm advocating FITNESS! You think any of the women holding those petition signs could run a few miles? The fact that one fat broad didn't even understand what the BMI is proves how ignorant they are!
Dude, c'mon. This people aren't asking for a healthy image. They aren't asking for toned, athletic looking women, to be on the catwalk. They're asking for overweight women, who are unhealthy in a different direction, to be on the catwalk; so that they can feel better about themselves and the fact that they're too lazy our ignorant to eat a proper diet and exercise propperly at the gym. Oh, and the BMI doesn't refer to muscle mass. Obviously if your 5,11 and 200lbs of muscle, you aren't obese.
What these women are doing is using horrible logic to compensate for their own insecurities. If anorexic women are unhealthy, and anorexic women are skinny, than skinny must equal unhealthy, and and if the opposite of skinny is overweight, and the opposite of unhealthy is healthy, than being overweight must be healthy! THAT IS STUPID!
You have fat girls saying that this is about being healthy! Look, I'm anti anorexia, but I'm not pro "people I see walking down the street" being models. Do you really think the fashion industries controls what people find attractive? Of course they don't, they just embrace to an unhealthy extreme. Changing the look of models isn't going to make being overweight perceived any differently.
So you are saying that a girl is either anorexic or overweight. Even if that isn't what you 'meant' that is the message being sent to our teens by you and many others. Easy to spout crap in a YouTube message but what would you say face-to-face to a 13 year old female who thinks her size four body is fat? Would you say to her that she is fat, unattractive, and worthless? Doesn't matter, she's already heard it.
You don't think that maybe there could be some other reasons that overweight women are insecure about their appearance? It's all just the media saying that it's bad to be overweight? That's where this perception comes from?
You should read an article on evolutionary psychology.
How is that even remotely what I said? I said a girl is either anorexic or overweight? Really? That's what I said? I didn't say anything about athleticism? About fitness?
Look, being anorexic isn't healthy, but neither is being fat. And the last time I checked, it's a good thing to be nice looking.
These women, as I've said before, aren't demanding nice looking athletic woman on the catwalk. They're demanding average frumpy lazy looking women. That isn't healthy.
Kawlyn 1029, You need a massive reality check. How are they asking for frumpy women? Are you implying that the average women is frumpy? I don't believe anyone is average. I have seen wonderful, healthy women on catwalks, and they where called "plus size" when in fact they where slightly thinner then me. That is Fat Talk, and Fat Talk is everywhere, giving people like you (easily influenced)there ideas about what thin and thick are. The Fashion industry tells you what fat is, and your listening.
You should check out the website first of all. Are you a women? If so, what did you think the last time you looked in the mirror? They aren't asking for overwieght women. The website doesn't advocate overweight women, they encouradge being healthy in healthy ways, such as NOT bindge eating. Disregard BMI, that has nothing to do with the little girls. Do you really belive the fashion industry has no control of fashion! If vogue said something is in, you watch all the kids wearing it.

Nice video! I'm deff. signing the petition
Only 5% of females have a body of a model--and yet we still see them starving themselves to death
Body diversity on the catwalk will definately help us towards acceptance

You need to stop being jealous and insecure, and blaming your problems on other people, and go read a fitness book.
