  • how do i use it? on the community it says press fire button to pick something up but it just fires my weapon >.< and i have the toggler and it said ggun enabled...

  • Description updated! Now contains a link to gravity gun toggler, a small script which can toggle gravity gun on and off using /ggun command. Useful for those who want to test it without scripting anything.

  • samp is a fuck shit multiplayer, script shit, mta is cooler to script and more functions and client side

  • Everything that is done in MTA can be done in SA-MP. It's just next to impossable...

  • Ehm, it CAN be scripted in SA-MP, you just don't know how. SA-MP scripting language is more complex, you could of do that with:

    A CUSTOM stock function for SetVehicleVelocityEx and SetVehiclePos, maybe IsPlayerAimingAt and IsPlayerInRangeOfPoint.

  • @KillerMars1 It can be scripted in SA-MP, just no one knows how.

    A custom stock function and here, the vehicle laggy moves through walls, a result of server-side physics imitation. Yeah, a real complexity.

    I like MTA, because I can script what I want without the need to workaround the problems.

  • @KillerMars1 It might be complex, but imagine that you get nothing out of this complexity but samp's limitations. Pawno is slow too.

    Even though it may be possible in some way, it's much easier to be made in MTA SA because the vehicle is synced even if there's no player inside that vehicle or someone else is controlling it.

  • @XX310 yes, i admit it would be better synced and easier made in atm, but its still possible, but a bit more laggy in sa:mp.

    Where Is The Link For The Gravity Gun ?

  • @TonyBra1000 I haven't uploaded the gravity gun anywhere. Maybe I could improve it a little bit and then release it, but I don't script on MTA now.

  • @turret001 It's not hard to do this in SA-MP, but there would be a few "little" problems:

    1) It would be possible to take vehicles and players through walls.

    2) Vehicles and players need to be moved server-side. That means: the more often you refresh them, the more lag you have. The less often you refresh them, the less smoothly it works (let's say, you take a vehicle and as it moves towards you, it hits you before it's refreshed to stop :D).

    3) It wouldn't affect unoccupied vehicles :D

    4) You need to use some other key than fire control, otherwise taking the object would cause the shot :)

  • @turret001 this is not hard in samp, it would only take like 2 camera functions and some timers, its super simple dude

  • @RSmasterkar1 And as I have already said, super impossible to control unoccupied vehicles as SetVehicleVelocity doesn't work on them. SetVehiclePos in a timer could be a workaround, but the vehicle wouldn't move smoothly and it would go through walls.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 of course it would go through walls, i think mta has some setElementCollison(params...) etc,but still, the thing is, it is possible in samp. i MUST admit, mta would be smoother, but i'm just saying it is possible

  • Very nice! It would be cool that MTA support weapons txd and dff so you model a gravity gun. So it look realistic.
