  • I always feel bad for the crash test dummies. They always risk there lives and for what? No one helps them with there hurt neck or hurt legs. :(

  • My poor car :'(

  • I feel like theres some bias in the judging of these cars. I understand the scion was unavailable with ESC, but my problem is with the frontal crash test. Simply visually compare it with that of the cobalt, the scion has MUCH less intrusion and buckling of the frame and controls the dummy more. and we can tell that just by looking!!! yet it only recieves an acceptable rating as opposed to the cobalts good? WTF

  • @ExilmBitch because of the dummy measurements, they don't just look, why do they use dummys?!

  • the sound is annoying

  • that focus and c30 are built on same platform, similar results are expected I hav Focus 07 but new Europe version its coool ;)

  • i will take my 56 chevy ,,,just wear ur seatbelts

  • Uh ok WTF ? Where is the Volkswagen Golf ?

  • vw golf=FAILmobile

  • actually its the safest and most luxurious car in its category. It is in 0 way a fail mobile

  • hahahahhaa actually the CHEVY was the FAILmobile!!! xD 4:39

  • @maxou5757 one, the golf is not a coupe, 2 in the u.s. the golf is the rabbit for '09. and again, this is coupes not hatchbacks.

  • lol low lowest....

  • Not trying to start another Ford. Chevy war here. But it amazes me how quickly safety is overlooked when purchasing a car. I am pro Ford. But for that very reason. Go ahead and look up the results for yourself. The Ford will come out better in the crash test than its chevy competitor... EVERY TIME!

  • HONK HONK YOU HAVE CRASHED HONK HONK

  • @spraynpray the ford sounds it's horn because it has a pos crash alert system, so if you veered off the road and became unable to get out or contact anybody then the car sounds the pos crash alert system. instantly calling the emergancy services

  • @jaffacake1578 nice input, a mercedes-benz invention- hardly anyone caught on

  • @Mcmerc01 ok, so prove to me that this 'mercades-benz' invention came out, and if it came out before ford's then let me know...

  • @jaffacake1578 Well, From what I know its an invention by MB. In 2002, I don't know what they call it, I think Emergency assist or something.

  • @spraynpraythe focus does that on purpose, it's to attract the attention of other passers by, incase you have crashed off of the road.

  • That video was put together terribly. There is a reason certain bits are muted.

LOL @ Focus alarm going off when hit in the side.

After seeing that cobalt crunch in the middle, I'm glad I got rid of my Cavalier coupe. The sedan was rated worst pic for 10 years from IIHS, and as displayed here, GM makes a bad sedan, it's coupe is even worse!

  • I like the ESC test at the end...but why?

  • Good to see that Ford's beefed up body structure helped the Focus score high marks for frontal/side impact. Makes it an all around excellent choice for a smaller car.

  • volvo and mazda 3 share structural bits

  • Ford owns Mazda, And Volvo.

  • the scion body structure was way better than many of the counterparts on offset

  • it was bc of the foot well

  • lol the volvo looks like it did better than the focus though o.o

  • Wow GM sucked

  • like how they always do :]

  • thats cool
