And here's a video that more or less confirms my memories. It seems just one performance. But notice how few people have watched this on Youtube given the doors popularity (still. 35600). People just don't know to look or what to look for. Also anyone recording on 16mm would have run out of film pretty quickly. Anyone taping would also have run out of tape at some point, and thought "enough for posterity, now let's go with it", I think. Jim says "is someone smoking?" Damn right they were.

Can anyone identify which of the four Roundhouse sets indicated in Greg Shaw's Doors on the Road book this footage comes from? Are we sure it's September 7 and not September 6? According to the Shaw book, The Doors played "When the Music's Over" during the early show (7 p.m.) and the late show (10 p.m.) on the 6th and the early show (7 p.m.) on the 7th (no set list provided for the 10 p.m. late show on the 7th). Evidently the Doors Are Open Granada TV footage comes from the late show on the 6th.

Oh, sorry, I see you already have the early show on the 7th indicated. Shaw's book also says that on the 7th the Doors held a press conference at the Institute for Contemporary Arts Cybernetics that is filmed by Granada TV and incorporated into the broadcast special. I see that in your footage Morrison is wearing what appears to be the same shirt from the press conference. Thanks to you and "Renee" for putting this together. Fun!

Okay... to everyone who doesn't know...

I took this clip from youtube, uploaded by Renee. There was no sound on this video, but when I watched it I knew it was the show of the 7th september 68. I mixed the video plus the music, but ran into synchronity-problems. Therefore I had to cut the video a few times and that's what you see... Perceptionman.

This is the only right sound, as you can see when Jim talks to the audience.

This clip could be from any show during 1968, its difficult to know if it's from the Roundhouse gig.

The sound is from Roundhouse but not from the same set as this video. The guy who made this video just cuted some parts in order to sinch with the sound. Just watch the cuts at 5:51 or 6:23 or even the one after Jim screams "We want the world"...

I believe this video is in fact from Roundhouse but there's no audio bootleg from that specific set. I tried to mix the sound from available bootlegs and it just doesn't combine with this video.

You detected 2 cuts in this clip, actually there are a lot more cuts i had to make, 12 to be precise, so try to look 4 the other 10.

I understand that you are critical, but you must realise it's all old material, and digitalised, I couldnt get better, thanx 2 the "greedy ones"...
