@ultimatechaosX well Shadow could have easily done something Shadow has access to the chaos emerlds like no one else does he can perform chaos control even if there isn't a chaos emerald he can do it when it's nearby he doesn't have to have one, and he is faster than Sonic not by running but with chaos control and he has devastating attacks such as chaos blast or chaos spear, he can easily vaporise Sonic if they both were in there normal forms plus Shadow can take one hell of a beatdown
