Its a great guitar, you can get lots of sounds out of it, the pups are high output stock, thats nice. looks purdy as well =p The trem isn't meant for heavy use, I'm probably gona get locking tuners so it doesn't go out of tune when I use the trem heavily. Thats about it.

You did good, but your your guitar's pickups might be lighter than usual. To pull of the shit you need a bit more distortion.

It's not the pickups, they're pretty hot, it's my amp, the gain was on 10, it's a classic style amp with Jaguar speakers, also I have my amp set for a more classic sound. It's just my preference I guess.

Sorta, it can produce his kind of sound, It's based off like earlier 70's amps, but yeah it can make Hendrix's sound. I like it because I can get that Ted Nugent, Led Zeppelin, earlier bassy Ozzy sound, as well as some heaver stuff, just not too heavy lol. I rarely play metal, once in a while a Metaillica song other than that, thats all. The amp suits my playing style well I think. Thats why I got it. =p
