I've never heard this one, even at Halloween...not here in Vancouver Canada altho it charted and bombed out at the bottom of the fab 50. Other novelity songs fared better and I remeber them like Kookie Kookie, Alley Opp, The Purple People Eater & Beep Beep, and then there was David Seville & the Chipmunks. It was okey for a listen, afterall I make a comment I should listen. By the way Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini is perhaps the most memorable of the novelty hits.THX
this is one of the greatest songs in the history of western civilization. I know this because I went to community college for a couple of years and happened to take a history of 20th century popular music. My father used to sing this song to me every halloween. the first version is definitely better.
